The Sun is incredibly far from Earth, I agree. Not with the Spot world, however. I'm sure you know of Cloak, who also uses the Darkforce Dimension? He's able to travel vast distances, even cross dimensions (Negative Zone to NYC).

I am merely linking two distances that are far in OUR world, but distance means nothing whatsoever to me in the Spot world.

As for the water:

That's the 'Yorick', btw. Daredevil has a portal separating his body from his head.

Don't think temperatures will work against Storm. This is a person that has been compared to a star.

Extreme heat and cold doesn't do anything to her since she does control the weather. This is a person that has been hit with the fury of lightning and we know the temperatures that goes too. Your attack might catch me off guard but that's about it. How would you even know my exact location?

You're not shrugging off a 3.5Megaton explosion in your face, let alone a constant stream. Hiroshima was 16 kilotons - I'm hitting you with something that explodes with 220 times that force. And can follow it up with more.

The water? I called them Storm of Needles for a reason. At the bottom of the ocean, they're going at 16,000PSI. A punch, incidentally, is about 80PSI. A bullet, 3000. I'm hitting you with multiple streams, at 16,000. Right in your face.

You're not shrugging any of that off, let alone multiple portals.

Do you realize how quickly Madison Jeffries can assemble equipment? He was instantly creating robots against Cable and company, can create armor on the fly from scrap metal in a cave or from ripping apart a sentinel instantly, etc. I'm armored up in Box armor and go underground within literal moments by taking all the metal from my condo and the cars outside, and then I'm underground taking on additional mass (sewage pipes, wiring, gas lines, underground ore, etc) and creating my base and manufacturing robots. I can do this instantly:
