If we're going by that logic than Iron Man will lose because DC would never let any Marvel hero beat Superman.
Building the Iron Man suit was prep for escape, and every subsequent modification for specific conditions after that was also prep. Hell, starting up the Avengers could be considered prep for future threats to Earth. Just because he hasn't been under the exact conditions of the OP doesn't mean we should simply discard giving him a year to prepare for this fight. He also has Banner (who is a genius) and Peter (who is also quite smart) to assist.
That being said, it all depends on other conditions as well. How much is the team told initially? Are they told that they are fighting an alien who draws his powers from solar radiation, or just that they are fighting a virtual god? Is Superman operating on the same planet as them during that year, allowing them to study him in action, or does he just pitch up on the day? Those factors make a huge difference in how well the team would be able to prepare. If the team knows how his powers work I could see them creating some kind of device to drain his energy and weaken him. If they don't, they get thrashed.
And I am not saying they would win, but with a year of prep (assuming they aren't just told that they will be fighting a really powerful guy in a year's time, and then left to their own devices) they could make him work for it at least.
But then again, basically making this an in-character fight means that MoS won't go for insta-kills. So they all fight for a bit, realise they are on the same side and want to protect Earth, and then hold a Superman Avengers induction party at that shawarma palce.

I think people are underestimating the 1 year prep that Marvel team has and forgetting that they only need to last 10 mins with Superman to win this fight.
A year of prep when you have minds like Stark and Banner (and even Parker) is hell of an advantage. I'm pretty sure they can come up with something that can stop Superman for at least 10 mins.
MOS is Bloodlusted, which technically turns his PIS/CIS off since his only character "flaw" was his unwillingness to kill, and the smartest scientists, Tony and Banner, are going to succumb to alcoholism and uncontrollable rage respectively, since PIS/CIS is on, and thus not find out how to beat Superman in time. But even if they conceived a plan, soon as the fight starts Bloodlusted Kal is so fast he will avoid it and proceed to murder the team. Superman is just too powerful.
