Dr Doom vs Gladiator

Straight up fight

Both know who they are fighting etc with both knowing standard info on each other

Who wins

Probably Doom, unless Gladiator can somehow believe that Doom's magic has no effect on him. On the other hand Gladiator has an incredible speed advantage on Doom, and may beat him with speed and strength before Doom can react. Gladiator is no Sentry though.

it's possible glads can win this. the longer the fight goes the more it favors doom though...

What I meant was that it shouldn't be much trouble for Doom to exploit Gladiator's weakness(es).

Now I don't know if replicating that specific radiation type that Gladiator is weak to is within prepless Doom's abilities, but he sure as hell can make Glads lose his confidence. Victor exceeds at making everyone around him feel inferior.

Was Gladiator's "weakness to magic" ever really explored?

As far as I recall it was just mentioned briefly during war of kings or something and then never picked up on.

I'd put Gladiator well above Doom in straight combat ability.

Love Glads but I'm giving this to Doom. That magic weakness will play it's part in this battle.

Doom has the durability/smarts and power to make the fight last long enough to drop Glads confidence for sure.

Gladiator doesn't suddenly drop in power unless there's something very, very specific that makes it falter.

They never did anything with Gladiator's supposed weakness to magic.

There's no reason to believe that Doom's level of magic would do anything to Gladiator's confidence...

Doom's level? He is arguably right under Doctor Strange in magic. His magic is on a high, HIGH level.

Yes, Doom is far from being a pushover in the magic department. Hell, he even made one of his Doombots use magic...

Didn't know about Glads being specifically vulnerable to it, though. Anyone has that WoK scan on hand?

In a Forum fight, Glads would end it fast. In a Comic he would go down.
