Now you're grasping at straws, you know those two situations are not equivalent. Great actors do voice over roles in animated/live action because they're quick, good money and not much commitment. That's why animated movies always have an all star cast.
You can't use the "why would they do a shitty movie?" and then ignore all the shitty movies these people did.
Hey go watch the Blues Brothers sequel, enjoy that lovely Dan Akroyd in an awesome movie that is great and the script obviously was awesome.

Now you're submitting to borderline conspiracy theory-ism. The original cast is being paid off to lie that they like the movie really??? Just because you can't accept that perhaps it's actually good you have to concoct these machinations.
Actors get paid to promote movies all the time.

I highly doubt that bill murray was contractually obligated to do promotion for the new ghostbusters. So the fact that after he filmed his cameo he chose to promote the movie and he chose to give it good press means probably that he likes the movie to some degree.
Originally posted by Silent MasterPromotion is usually a thing they have to do as a byproduct of being in the movie. murray doesn't even have a credited role in the movie, which means he chose to do promotion. And I'm sure the guy has more than enough money already to decline the offer if he isn't fond of the movie

But he did a cameo in the movie and the movie has been getting hate. So of course they have the cast saying "it's totally awesome".
He does shitty films, he did a cameo here for one of the most famous movies he has been in. You act like he is touring the world with these people to promote it.
Originally posted by SurturEven in things like talk show appearances and press tours, when an actor isn't particularly proud of the movie they tend to not go in depth or talk politically. Murray went out of his way to praise the movie and I seriously doubt that can be bought

He's gone out of his way to say if other movies he's done are bad etc.
But he does shitty movies too. You act like this proves anything. Did you expect them to say it was shitty, even if they thought that? Can you imagine the shit storm? The SJW's would be all over it.
So it's cool they promote it, but it doesn't tell us much about the quality of the film. Literally every big actor has done a shitty movie and done promotion for it.
Most celebrities are going to have a hard time saying they do not like this film because of the asinine "it's all misogyny" view some people have.
Originally posted by Surturbut he's had no problem saying if the movie is bad which he's done.

You just seem to be crying over something not even released yet. Why not see the movie and form your own opinion instead of being a mindless media driven sheep.

Yeah your countless posts bitching surely most mean something else eh.
I said the movie looks shitty, it's in a topic about the film. So no, you don't get to pass it off as "crying".
The trailers look shitty, most people agree. Bill Murray or anyone else saying it is good means nothing.
Originally posted by SurturYou're acting like you're not part of a much larger much more tenacious group of zealous assholes trashing the movie before its come out
Nobody is crying. I said the movie looks shitty due to the trailers. I said the actors in the movie saying it's awesome means nothing. Nobody said Bill Murray can be bought, but Bill Murray is weird though. He has no agent, you just need to be lucky enough to get a hold of him.

As opposed to the dumb assholes whining over people thinking it is shitty? Why are dumb assholes better than tenacious ones? Explain why dumb assholes are better.
Originally posted by Surturyeah I do as all you've done is crying about ppl who's envolved in the movie saying it's good, because as you've put it "they would be bias etc" when I've just said Murray has no problem slating something if it's bad.
