Ghostbusters (2016)

Fair Enough....once again you've obviously made up your opinion on the movie.

I won't say I'm 100% correct, I'm willing to acknowledge the trailers could of just made a decent movie look like a turd.

But the way this is all being handled indeed does make me think it is a turd. Does it mean it won't do well at the box office? I am not sure..controversy sells.

So on it's own I'd just be thinking "okay based on the trailers it looks terrible" but this review embargo thing and then these articles..like I said, it's all strange.

So I'm not 100% sure, and I guess I will never be able to truly be sure until I see it. Which I don't plan on seeing it until it's on dvd(if I decide to see it at all). So until then I'll have to go by the reviews that come out.

Though it does make you wonder though..about Patton. He is the perfect person to be seen praising this movie due to his comedy background.

The other person claiming this new movie is better then old ones, To me it feels like she was paid to say that.

That is a weird thing for someone to say. Though I do remember the sequel to Ghostbusters doesn't get as much love as the first movie. But I truly enjoyed the sequel too.

Though it was weird because the first movie made it seem like Bil Murray and Sigourney Weaver would be together and then in the next movie she has a baby from some other dude.

I too like the sequel, Just because it wasn't as good as the first movie doesn't mean it was terrible.

If the early reviews were great, there wouldn't be an embargo.

I guarantee you some women will see the movie not because they want to and are interested in it , but because they think it will make a statement. These females are stupid.

But yeah it could make some decent money internationally. Historically lots of shitty movies did well overseas.

On the other hand Variety and Vanity Fair are kind of negative

Forbes is also positive while a bunch of other sites like EW are mixed
