Dark Souls vs Dragon Age vs Elder Scrolls

It really just depends on what you're into and if you like these games. Dragon Age and Elder Scrolls both are fantasy, but still different games, different kinds of RPG's.

Right now, I'd probably always favor a Bioware type RPG over Elder Scrolls, but ONLY because Bethesda has yet to truly master their product. It's sort of like when CGI first became a big thing in movies..a lot of it was really crude and in some ways looked even worse then not using CGI at all, but eventually the technology came around, and they got it right. Bethesda has the same, they have a variety of perfect elements from their games, they just need to figure out a good way to combine them into a single package.

Why? The quality of the game should be assessed on the game it's own IMO and not what modders do with it. Once mods begin to get added the game becomes something other (and usually greater) than Skyrim.
