Huehuehuehuehue.
Personally I don't play games for excellent stories, if I want a good story I watch a movie, tv show, or book. So when a game has a good story..it's just a bonus for me. Though I wouldn't say the plot to Skyrim was bad. It was just..meh. Nothing special about it.
Now to get to the other discussion people were talking about the power levels of these universes. I can't speak much to the others, but you can do some crazy things in the ES series. For instance there is a book you can find in Morrowind that tells the story of a guy who was in love with a girl and wanted to use magic as a way to impress her.
So he goes to a mage and pays him to teach him certain spells. These spells focus on the spells in Morrowind that increase your attributes. So you have spells that increase strength, intelligence, etc. It describes what the strength amping spell lets him do..which is pick up a stable house(with the wagons inside) with one finger.
Then it starts to get really crazy, the guy hears the girl he wants doesn't like super strong guys, but super smart guys. So the guy goes and learns the "increase intelligence" spell. So to show off how smart the spell has made him he goes to the nearest university(or something like that) and essentially him and this other smart guy go head to head, trying to show who is smarter. The one guy shows some pretty impressive math equations. But then the guy who is the main character of the story, who learned the increase intelligence spell? He proceeds to write a friggin equation on the board that actually blinks his opponent out of existence.
Keep in mind this guy was just an ordinary guy who paid a mage to teach him these spells. He was not some massively skilled mage prior to this, he was a gardener. So that just goes to show you what a *novice* magic user can do with a bit of studying.

Elder Scrolls: Vast with huge playboxes and well-developed levelling/gearing with great role play value.
Dragon Age: Small but very rich story with excellent writing and great replay value.
Dark Souls: Dark with great atmosphere, stunning gameplay and very well done class system.
All three are excellent series and I love each of them.

Maybe you did or did not hear, but at one point they more or less re-vamped the board, deleted all the posts, etc. and basically gave it a new spin. They did this because some person got harassed..or something(so yep, deleting everything is obviously the answer because logic).
So after they delete it and get a new CBR, everyone has to re-register. But...yeah, it's just not the same anymore. It's not the posters, it's the mods. They tried to build a new CBR, but they f*cked it up.
They essentially did the equivalent of when you have a classroom full of kids and a few misbehave and then you punish the ENTIRE class for what a few kids did. It made no sense, they took it overboard and..ugh, I could go on about CBR.
Like I said, it wasn't the people in the rumbles section, it was just the overall management of the site..it went to hell.

Yeah, but they made it like 1,000 times worse now. I got temp banned for calling Gwen from "Torchwood" a skank because she repeatedly cheated on her boyfriend in the first season.
Oh and you see my sig here? I had the same one on CBR for nearly a decade, I got not a peep of complaint. One week after the reboot? They edited my sig and took it out and gave me a warning because of it.
