Why would it be heavier? It's the same size, and made from similar materials. The biggest difference between the two is the power source.
It was literally bolted on IIRC.

Don't think it was 8 feet tall, but it was noticeably larger and bulkier than a T-800/850 endoskeletonedit: Seems it was almost 8 foot tall after the timeline change
Yeah, I'm talking about the Salvation version, which was ridiculous.

For strength and durability.

Hmmm. I don't recall that but it's been awhile since I've seen it

Basic knowledge means detailed information about an enemy's construction and power source now?
Basic knowledge of QS would be that he has super speed, etc..
Basic knowledge of the Terminator would be that he's a robot. If a robot is walking around without any wires, it's got a self sufficient power source.

How? There's skin and muscle covering them, and I don't think QS even knows where they are.
He's from the 70s.
Concepts like wireless electricity etc wouldn't even be a concept for him.
He sees a walking machine, that looks like a robot from the sci-fi films he's seen....it's gonna have a power source.
What's the first thing you do when shutting a machine down? Find its off switch. Then, remove batteries. It's a simple enough concept, and considering how many security systems he's beaten, he isn't exactly stupid.
As to jugger's point about not knowing where to look....how much time would it take? I mean, if you gave me a toy, eventually I would find its battery compartment. Which is why I said, over time, he will find it out.
