If it blows in his face and he doesn't know? Yeah.

He would be moving at super speed. He would see the explosion happening in slow motion and would have plenty of time to get away

If it did explode, it would look like an extremely slow motion, pretty wave of fire.

He just needs to get past that flesh barrier. Once it's off, the panel is pretty easy access.

And how does he get the fuel cell compartment open? It doesn't open just like that, and QS doesn't have the strength to pry it open.

It's not a nuke. The were able to outrun the blast in a vet truck. You think that truck is faster than QS?

It was basically a mini-nuke. They had a head start as I recall and still got hit by the shockwave.

Even without the headstart QS is WAAAAYYYYYYY faster. If they can outrun it in a truck, he can easily

You're making it sound like QS top speed(remember he showed he can go even faster while already in super speed mode) is comparable to the truck. As fast as he was(had Beast convinced he was a teleporter) without trying, putting all the stops out imo would get him well away from the explosion without any harm.

Are you cats arguing that QS couldn't outrun a nuclear blast?

It must have been slower than 864mph as well, because that truck was sufficiently far away to be jolted - but it killed no one.

Not sure how relevant it is due to the nature and size of them being vastly different, but when he turned the speed on, even the explosion from the cops firing their guns were frozen in time.

Funny enough, CW Flash has been confirmed by Dr. Wells to not be fast enough to outrun a nuclear detonation.
