IMO, I thought TDK Trilogy and (the second and third act of) MOS were better than any MCU film, but the frequency at which the MCU produces films and their Saturday morning cartoon take on superheroes, as opposed to the psuedo-realistic epic take the WB/DC films have, make them far more popular and recognizable.

It's nice to see marvel not being childish about this by not giving us new characters and cancelling a popular comic book...oh wait...

MoS was terrible, I was being generous.TDKR is boring if you try to watch it again, the second half was what made it bad, especially the Talia reveal.
TDKR was, more or less, an enjoyable movie. Its problems were with plot holes, weirdly stupid plot twists, poorly designed action sequences and a pervasive lack of Batman. It was still visually stunning, and the story was kind of interesting.

I enjoyed TDKR for the most part, I just felt the story was weak. Selina Kyle really brought nothing the the plot, she should have been excluded, and Talia should never have been in the movie as well. If the story was kept simple it would have been a lot better.

Funny how people can't stop getting erections about how MoS sucked but fails to mention that Marvel has done even worse with like Iron Man 2 or the rebooted Hulk

I actually think IM3 was crap tier like MOS. IM2 was ok not great by any means . TDKR was ok as well but with alot of flaws that one could say make it below average.
Dont see how people still think "lets showcase the villain as much as possible and the hero take a back seat approach" is genius.
Both Thor movies were good IMO EXCEPT for the human jane/darcy & pals parts, but other than that, THOR and Asgard parts were highly enjoyable.
The Incredible Hulk was a good movie imo. very underrated.

Because the director (& Nolan's influence) wanted to take MOS on a serious level & that's why it failed.
Whilst IM2 & Hulk were indeed comic book characters made into a movie for the sheer simple fact of enjoyment.
