iirc, those are your stats, or close to it; I didn't mean petite in a bad way. don't get defensive, babe.also, I'm topping out at 195 these days. smallest I've been in years. my goal is 185.
estahuh
Spiderman would have like 3% bf, his 5'10 165 wouldn't be small at all.

man, this news is sooo awesome, i bet nothing bad comes from this. I mean it's not like, Marvel would ever make a decision that would compromise or change a character based solely on popular demographic poles or anything. Marvel will never be capable of making a bad movie like Spiderman 3
Well Marvel's still not making the Spider-Man movies. But they will have Major Creative Input. If Sony has any sense they will just do whatever Marvel says.
But agree about this news. To quote the Lego movie:
EVERYTHING IS AWESOMMMMMMEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Worst Marvel movies (ones which people generally don't rave about):
1. IM3
2. IM2
3. Thor: TDW (Liked it at first simply because of my excitement of seeing a Thor sequel, but reality sank in with repeated viewings).
Out of those 3 I'd say the only really bad one was IM3.
But 3 out of 10 Watchable/Bad movies vs 7 out of 10 Pretty Good/Awesome movies, is a Fantastic record. And honestly the main problem seems to be the IM Sequels, which most people seem to forgive because the character himself has become by far the most popular.
Compare that to Sony's Spider-Man record. 1/3 bad movies in the first franchise (which tainted the whole series because it wasn't just bad, it was outright Awful), then 1/2 bad movies in the reboot.
Yeah if Sony has any sense they will do whatever Marvel tells them to.

Sony blacklisted Denzel because they thought his race was to blame for low overseas box office numbers for The Equalizer, so i do not have too much faith in their common sense
Honestly, I think two changes to SMIII would have massively upgraded it's quality:
1. Remove the scene with dancing Peter
2. Give Venom a badass voice instead of that of Topher. I liked Grace as Brock, but when he became Venom they didn't need to keep his voice. It massively downgraded the menace of the character.
If Raimi had done those two things, it wouldve undoubtedly saved the movie.
