Yeah lol. Being friends isn't grounds for an inevitably shitty novel.
"Hey Obi-Wan!"
"Hey Depa, let's fight battledroids!"
Obi-Wan and Depa fighting battledroids.
"I can't wait to kill this battledroid. He's so stupid!"
"We don't know its gender preference, don't call it a he."
The End.

Ah yeah, now that I do recall...which I'm kinda disappointed that Non-Force Users are just picking up lightsabers and using them like that.So in this new canon are they just gonna be treated like regular blades then? I know Han says he was being careful not to cut himself, but that doesn't really ease my worries.
I liked that only a proper Force User could wield a lightsaber, if anyone can use it...then what's the point of having Vibroblades and the like?
Well we already knew Pre-Vizsla could use one. And even Grievous is clearly superhuman but still not a force user.
Even Han Solo briefly used once in ESB.
So it had kind of already been established that anybody can turn one on and swing it around.
However constructing a Lightsaber remains something only a Force user can do (as well as finding the Crystal in the first place).

Han used it as a cutting tool, not really the best example.
Vizsla sure i'll give you, but that seems more an exception.
Grevious the same way given his cybernetics.
However we also have those 2 panther guys, Kreel and now Chewie.
What I don't like is that they are just picking them up and using them as regular blades, when they are clearly noted as being the weapon of the Jedi and Sith. Them being only constructed by Force Users seem to go with that fact.
But these comics seem to throw that and just treat them as regular blades which I find stupid....I liked that one needed The Force to actually wield a lightsaber in combat, it made the blade unique.
Now what's the point of Viroblades?
Point with Han was that it was established back then that anyone can turn one on and use it.
Well I guess They are establishing that it's the weapon of a Jedi/Sith because only Force users can sense the Crystal and only Force users can Constrct a Lightsaber. So pretty rare and difficult for anyone else to get one unless they killed a Jedi/Sith.

Well yeah, but combat purposes?
I just don't like that..the lightsaber was unique than other blades in that it could only properly be used by Force Users, everyone being able to use one just makes it like every other blade..other than construction wise.

I'm going to laugh if the two humiliate Grievous
Same. Although being Ahsoka level isn't a bad thing in this canon.
.... mmm though this is Grievous nearing the end of TCWS

Where do you see Jar'Kai? I only see him destroying one of those drone things.
Isn't there a blue lightsaber behind him?
Eh I was busy talking with Aury about the jacked up dbz levels so pardon me if I'm wrong.
On another note. That Depa TK feat was pretty neat, especially given she had only recently come out of coma.
Interesting follow up.
So I love the elements of exhilaration that Caleb feels during battle, it's a lot like what's described in Shatterpoint, best of all, he's reckless, and honestly it spells Juyo/Vaapad.
Anyways things of note that happened?
Depa's squad were utterly decimated at Haruun Kal by some general, Pears? spears? I don't remember.
Styles and Grey are the only surviving members of that event along with Billaba, so it's nice to know, makes the betrayal all the more scarring imo.
Kanan survives getting shot, but just barely. Still, impressive for a padawan.
Little oddities, Depa and Kanan were changing in the same room, kinda weird...Syndicate i await your comments.
The assassin from before seems to consider Depa a threat despite General Kleeve thinking she's not one.
and lastly, evidently we're getting GG Vs Depa, the last panel has Grievous saying he'll deal with "her" himself.
all in all, good book, a little too short? but still worth it tbh. As always the art is freaking beautiful and Depa looks gorgeous in every panel, she's ageless tbh.
Kanan looks a great deal younger, which is odd, and the clones are all pretty good. 7-10 for me, if only because of the Cliffhanger.
Evidently, Shatterpoint is not all that canon, but who knows, i'll see what they have to offer before writing Shatterpoint being canon off.

Marvel isn't capable to write a decent SW comic book or is it the new story group, that runs the show?
Yep they are good are drawing big Leilia slave boobs (if you watch the desk of death battle you will know what I mean, we all know that larvel produce a lot of comic for 15 -25 MALE teenager adult, and we all know what it give)
Or making some fan service by spaming IT character shit.
But when it's about to take some risk, and do something new and original... Nope nobody is there ! And when they try to do something original they just copy the EU !
Same thing for JJ abrhams, O.K making The froce awaken a good movie without falling too much in the OT fanservice that was a pure miracle, O.K the stasis a blaster bolt was cool, the mental tortrue scene were intense and original. O.K the first actions when they escape Jabou are rgeat..
But after this I'm just watching a 2015 version of episode IV and V ! Because the only thing that JJ abrahams is good at, is making copy of some style.
+The movie never stop, it's dynamic O.K but it never stop, even in cooldown moment it feel like it is not stopping, it even make me regret Georges Lucas clumsy paw, that make everything slow and boring (It is not just the prequel it is the entire 6 movies ! That are just like that !)
Because it was bringing some cooldowntime, that let to great character devloppement.
Interesting that Depa says Kanan is "Indeed Strong in the Force." So he may have more latent talent than people give him credit for.

That's a shame. But not surprising considering some of these comics sell almost as well as the Rebels tv show does.

It's actually out-selling comics like the New Avengers and Superman which is amazing as **** tbh
