I found this old article about Raimi's potential SM4 way back that was supposed to feature Vulture. One of the comments made me lol
"Sorry man, there is just no rightful way to make the Vulture intimidating, dangerous, or even the least bit scary.
He’s an old man in a flight suit. That’s literally it. I can think of a bunch of Spidey foes who actually have better offensive capabilities than just “hey, my wings are pretty sharp.” Even the Hypno Hustler can beat that."
Fast forward to homecoming, and Vulture was terrifying lol.
EDIT:

Uh, yes it is. Movies like this are always very front loaded.
Caught it this Saturday; was rather enjoyable, if formulaic. Far better than SM3, ASM and ASM2. Holand was a good teen Peter Parker and Keaton was an overall good villain. Was nice to see a villain driven by little more than a personal greed for wealth, no wanting to rule humanity or kill billions cos evil.
The guy they picked for Flash was a turd, poor casting there imo.

Took you long enough. 😂
At least we're getting to the point in the super hero tv/movie obsession phase that studios are a bit less reluctant to take certain chances in their movies now.
We needed to be put through some good comic book tv and some god awful comic book tv over the years in order to get to a point where they'd make a show like "Legion" for instance.

Easily the best Thor movie. Thor should show what he can really do.
It sounds like they tried to insert elements from "Planet Hulk" into it.

Not got my hopes up given he'll be without Mjolnir for most the movie.
IMO it was stupid of them to spoil this plot point.
