Just rumours. I dont think a Superman spin off will happen, for the reasons you have pointed out. He and his related characters are all used to serve the SG show.

Perhaps a Lois and Clark away from Earth and raising their Super Baby show..

a.k.a., sequel to Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman? I'd take that.

The first thought that popped into my head when I saw that was Supergirl: Breaking Bad.

😂

Well its not like Superman is using them. 😛

If I'm lucky it'll stay that way... But I'm rarely lucky.

I'm okay with baddie appropriation, especially if it increases the chances of us getting 22 episodes of Superman Vs. Doomsday, which we won't but a lad can dream.

If only. I think they used Metallo too, didn't they?

He's like a less offensive, far funnier "The Good Doctor".

I had to think about it for a minute, but I get what you mean.

Lex as a villain being a straight white male whose homophobic, transphobic, and everything under the sun would be typical of this show.

Right? I hope Superman's show doesn't get hit too hard by Supergirl already having a sizable amount of his supporting characters and rogue gallery.

Yeah. I mean, Lex is a bastard, sure, but who knows what they'll do to him. He's a character that can be written with a lot of nuance.

The article I read must have just been one of those clickbaity ones, then. Good. I don't much like CW Superman as it is.

It's unfortunate to see someone literally my age whose playing a Superman that's... not very well handled, putting it lightly.

Guess I'm in the minority in liking CW Superman.

Also doesnt work for me that he looks Karas age but is like her 10years older cousin/brother. Because he doesnt age or whatever. Should have just gotten someone a few years older.

We can start a club. 😄

Wonder if we will get a Lobo App now that He is going to be on Kryupton?

I think they referenced Lobo at least twice on this show. Not directly but I'm pretty sure he was who they were talking about.

First glimpse of Lex and from the small glimpse he’s easily the best thing to happen to the show in years. He’s gong to be a good villain

Yes. Yes he is.
Looking forward to tomorrow.

Cryer ****ing nailed it.

Though i pegged every twist but two

Spoiler:
(the dam and Ms. Tessmacher), watching Luthor play his sister was a joy. From the initial flashback to the final face to face w. Kara, i havent enjoyed myself this much watching an ep. of this show in ages.
Just Lex yelling “MS. TESMACHER!” was worth the price of admission so to speak.

On the meh side, the J’onn/Manchester plotline is too angsty for my liking, but nothing’s perfect.

I liked the button pressing Manchester was doing to J'onn, partly so they would have an excuse to actually do something of note with the Martian Manhunter in the show again and get him out of his pacifist shell, but I guess the confrontation between them this ep was a well timed end as any.

And yeah, this Lex is great. Wasn't sure what to really expect, but said expectations were definitely surpassed. 👆

I dont mind J’onn/Manchester the concept. The execution has been boring to me though.

Ill be honest. Not caught up on this because, well its been quite boring for a while. Is the new Lex Luthor worth getting back into the show?

Definitely, 100%.
