Disgusting.

I'm playing it, TBH it's not bad. Gets a bit repetitive, but like most online shooters do. You some fr get about isn't once you're into it trying to rank up etc. With new maps, weapons and characters coming it's worth the cash imo

For $50 totals worth? Not being a cheapskate but Battlefront really should've had all that before it came out. Compared to it's competition like Halo 5 having not just MP modes but a campaign and more DLC (maps, weapons, armor sets) arriving for free, how is EA charging you extra for the same things on a $60 barebones game fair in comparison? If anything, EA should be giving that DLC free to try and actually make Battlefront worth it's retail price but instead they're taking advantage of people's nostalgia.

True.

There should of been a SP campaign.

Value is not a finite thing. It's an opinion. Some people will think there isn't value while others do. For instance, you can pay $20 bucks for about 10 hours of Ori and the Blind Forest while you can pay $60 and play the multiplayer for 60 hours. Aren't the worth the same? Maybe people find value in the nostalgia of the experience? It's up to them on what they consider value.

Someone modded Battlefront's graphics to look even better.

I don't think free DLC including some new maps, weapons and character skins is going to do anything to make the game seem more valuable. These things don't change the game and if you like the game, it's already worth the price. A single player or co-op campaign would definitely help, though.

Adding in game chat or online matchmaking for, survival and missions modes would be a step in the right direction.

Looks great but i remain skeptical until i see gameplay footage.

7.5/10.

CoD meets Star wars = fun, but too little substance.

I REFUSE to pay for DLC that should have been in the initial release.

I am not into shooters and hearing this I will probably pass despite the Star Wars hype unless I hear more positive things about this game.

Which DLC should have been in the initial release? I'm pretty sure Jakku is free.

Breaking Benjamin's opinion about Battlefront in an exclusive interview. That Twitter post was no lie.

Angry Joe's review is finally here.

Iv been having a blast with the game i mean i didnt like it at first (i sucked) but now im having legit fun my only complaint is how heros and villins can rape you instantly and some people troll you by getting in front of you and doing this weird ass taunt

Gonna be a Battlefront EA 2 and so on, yearly? May the force help us all.

Maybe by the time the fourth one comes around, there'll be a campaign and some galactic conquest.

Just a matter of how many sequels it'll take to mostly recapture what made the original Battlefronts loved in the first place, I guess, not that I have too much faith.

With how overwhelming Imperial forces can get, it would've been cool on the Endor map if rebels actually got Ewok support and had traps placed for AT-STs so both sides have something up their sleeve.

What is it that this Battlefront lacks for you? I would have liked to see a bigger focus on vehicles. However, if you were a fan of the original, Battlefront games i don't see how you this one would disappoint you. It is the same game, just modernized.

Compared to the older Battlefronts, lacks enough that wouldn't warrant worth in a $50-$60 price range. Not as many modes, not as many maps, definitely not as many heroes as the standard issue Battlefront II which has loads of content that puts EA's version to shame single player aside. The rest you have to buy for the latest installment with a season pass btw.

Spawn points are even cheapened, everything is relied on orb-token thingies to unlock vehicles instead of having them placed all over the maps and heroes that should be earned via a specific amount of kills but no. Now anyone can be Boba Fett and achieve ridiculous kill streaks they probably don't deserve.

But at least the audio and graphics are good.

Agreed. It's a shame multi-operated vehicles were gotten rid of. Then we could've had that mode where a player operates a drop ship full of other players to take to a capital ship where they would storm the thing and unlock a spawn point for the rest of the team to invade. That crap was awesome.

However, if you were a fan of the original, Battlefront games i don't see how you this one would disappoint you.

Offends me more like with the way it's been handled.

It is the same game, just modernized.

By modernized you mean lessened then I agree.

I enjoy battlefront 3 but I prefer 2
