not sure i'd label them as 4th wall concepts, though i think i get what you're saying. they were birthed in the dc multiverse and are TRYING to break the 4th wall, and they seem to have done so via ultra comics. of course, rl earth seems to be a part of the multiverse as morrison has laid it out so i guess in that sense they could still be "rl" concepts, only within the dc multiverse. 😐
