Interesting. I'm trying to imagine Namor fighting Marvel's Hermes, and how well he would do in that fight. jay has super human strength right? I mean to a degree.

It happens within the first 10-20 issues of Johns run, I believe. Well before Black Reign.

And Jay in no way "dominated". At most, he had a slight upper hand until Adam cut him down with a thunderclap.
