First couple of seasons were meh for me.
For as big a Rip Hunter fan as I am, I HATED him in this show.

That is fair, but the first couple seasons werent enjoyed (to an extent) because of Rip specifically. That said, all I remember about the first season was cuck Carter, and a misused Vandal Savage, amusing as he was at times. Oh, and a consistently cool Snart, but season 2 was where the show really reached its stride imo.

Season 3 for me...

...it’s when they fully embraced the lunacy...!

This seasons first episode was pretty solid. Okay so technically the first episode was part of the crisis storyline, but I'm not gonna count that. This weeks episode is the first one where the legends are back.

Some interesting developments.

Spoiler:
The legends are now famous(it doesn't last) all around the world and in this episode a documentary crew follows them around and they end up going on a mission. The villain of the episode is Rasputin(one of the souls released from hell in the finale of the previous season). The way he is defeated is epic: he's basically immortal and they can't kill him. At one point in the fight a normal sized Ray is knocked unconscious and reverts to his small size. Later on in the fight Sara hurls Ray into Rapustins mouth and he ends up in his stomach. This causes Ray to wake up and he doesn't know where he is, but the team tells him to return to normal size and he does and he explodes Rapustin from the inside lol. Then they put the bloody bits of his body into some jars so he can't reform.

All in all a good episode.

You can watch the ep for free the on the networks website:

www.cwtv.com

Or if you have roku u can download the cw app and watch it on there

Ty man!

have it recorded, it’s just a matter of dodging my family long enough to watch it (and Supernatural) and down several beers...😛

heh, it's worth it. do some binge watching come midnight. smoke a blunt 🙂

Yeah, they have most of the shows to stream online. Which kind of makes paying for cable feel less worth it then it is.

You can also watch the complete rebooted Battlestar Galactica on Syfi.

And Xena.

Personally all I need is my Adam West Batman on Roku.

Recreational marijuana is a stones throw away from becoming reality in CT.

I guess that's one reason to relocate here, because they won't bring in anyone on our costs of living, taxes, or general living conditions.

I was really into the devil’s parsley as a kid, but I can’t see doing it again. I’ve pretty much perfected drinking these last 30 years anyway!

I enjoy this show because it doesnt try to be too serious and embraces the campiness of Comics

^^^word.

I’m digging the Post Crisis stuff.
Sarah dealing w. Ollie’s death, Nate’s vaguely remembering Zari, the unwanted fame. The camera crew stuff was fun, and reminded me of when Caity Lotz was on a show called DEATH VALLEY which used the same format.
Constantine taking an underage kid out to drink was great, as was his chugging down a literal White Russian. Rory’s retirement, Ava Sharpe’s kiss/faint and Sarah’s accompanying thumbs up (which made zero sense but was laugh out loud funny), a pot reference, Ray saying how handsome Superman was...
A bed full of Beebos was pretty damn sexy, too.

This latest ep. is pretty good. John’s

Spoiler:
American accent was hilarious. It was nice seeing Zari again. No offense to her brother, but she’s way hotter.

latest ep was okay. tala ashe is fine lol

I wonder if it was foreshadowing, Ava singing the line “that girl is poison” one last time, as Zari was (re)introduced?

This week’s ep. was pretty dang brilliant, in terms of balls out fun and character bits.
Having just come off AHS 1984 this was like it’s goofy brother!

Freddy Meyers was a pretty funny spoof.

I see what you did there CW.
