I enjoyed the return episode, overall. A few things though:
Spoiler:
I was disappointed that they brought back Ra's, only to have him do pretty much nothing. Also, the moment they mentioned that Chronos took Snart specifically, I figured it had to be Rory.
And I think it says a lot about Savage that a brainwashed member of their own team has, so far, provided a significantly greater threat to them than he has. But then again, Rory as Chronos was pretty badass, and it took quite a lot to stop him. His whole getup kind of made me think of a time-traveling Deathstroke.
Ray also handled himself pretty well for a guy with 2 years of a rust, in a suit that had supposedly been partly salvaged for bits for his time beacon.
I wonder if we'll ever see Time Wraiths somewhere in this show like in the last Flash episode as a consequential result of them changing time like Barry had done repeatedly.
And yeah, I was a bit disappointed at how nonchalant Ra's came off about everything, even Chronos barging in and killing League members during the combat trial. But the whole Rory thing was handled nicely I suppose considering I was already convinced he was dead, and Snart shattering his hand to break free from his capture was hardcore.
I'm not minding this show, but I feel like it would have worked best as 1 season. Stop Savage, then be "A-list B-listers" per se. They could walk into cameo roles in any show and be absolutely boss. Instead, they'll squeeze every ounce of blood out of them until there's no point left.
Oh jesus, stop the presses, I thought of something even better. What this show really needs is a modular cast. Like the Exiles in Marvel comics. There's a common purpose, and maybe Rip as the grounding force, but people come and go. They already have their own universe, separate from DC's movieverse and Supergirl. They could shuffle through the entire DC C-list just for sh*ts and giggles. Something doesn't work? Scrap it. Character takes off with the audience? Bring them back a bunch. And it would allow them to do things like actually have a proper Crisis on Infinite Earths, maybe with Barry at the center of it. Holy sh*t, I want this now.

I meant more in the sense that every time they encounter him they either kill him, or temporarily manage to take him out of the fight. It took a hell of a lot of effort to eventually defeat Rory.
Well yeah, one's a walking tank with futuristic tech & weaponry, the other is an immortal peak human genius with knives.

Time Wraiths according to Eobard only come after Speedster's who alter the timeline and don't know how to cover up their tracks or get lucky.

Well, my issue is that he was portrayed like such a beast during his introduction in the Flash/Arrow crossovers, that the comparative ease with which he's gone down during LoT has been somewhat underwhelming. Which makes me wonder, why doesn't he go fetch his damn staff? The thing can bust entire cities, and requires special plot device gauntlets for someone other than Savage to wield it properly. Seems like it would be useful.
Good solid episode. Got the bitter taste of yesterday's Arrow out of my mouth. Could've done without the Carter flashbacks/visions though, whom I'm still glad is dead (at least, for now). Loverboy Hawkman was a creep and still comes off as such.
Especially liked how much more human they made Rip feel now (compared to before at least), despite the consequences as to whether or not he'd have killed Savage's little prodigy.
Why do people continue to trust Mick Rory? I just don't really get it. Were the Time Masters so hard up for members they go to him?
Also is it just me or does Hawkgirl kind of treat Ray like shit?
Also wait Sara thinks it's a good idea to go back and work for Ras? Okay time travel obviously slowly but surely drains you of your IQ.
Well, what else was there for Sara to do once she (understandably) became convinced that she got left behind in that time period and they wouldn't come back for her? It was like two years before Rip finally got everyone back together again, after all. And she wasn't around during Arrow's S3 to know of Ra's' real treachery (thanks to Malcolm), so there's that too.
Hyped for Jonah Hex in next episode... Can't wait. 😄
