I'm on the fence on what I would want.A complete remake or remastered with cleaner graphics.
I think it would be neat to see some HDR lighting and better effects.
But I will say, if this was Capcom...it would be of been released by now with three versions.
Whichever it is, and with any luck, the reason it wasn't at EA Play is they're saving the announcement for the Xbox Series X event this month.

Is this gonna be a thing now where they gotta remake games like they remake movies?
Absolutely. The remaster has been growing in popularity over the years. It's almost to the point of oversaturation now, since a lot of them aren't done well or with love. They're simply cheap ports to current-gen system so they can get a quick check. Just like movie remakes...go figure.
The ghost in the dark cave with spikes everywhere is the first real challenge I've had.
I keep hitting him with the nail, and he just keeps going. About ten-12 hits of the nail so far.
I really hope I don't need to hit him with the "Dream nail" in the fight, because the windup on that thing would make that very difficult.

A shame cuz there could be potential, but it will be abused.
A morrowind remake would be nice.
Decided to a hunt down my copy of MGS3 Subsistence for the MSX Metal Gears.
Like everyone else, I only ever played the NES version, and got soured on it from that damned opening jungle area. Was a rental, never got very far in it.
MSX version plays nothing like the NES one. It really does feel like Metal Gear Solid, in 2d. Except for the fact you can't hide under cameras, but pretty sure real life security cameras don't have blind spots beneath them anyways..
