I'm replaying Dragon's Dogma I have yet to see an RPG that has better combat than this game. I'm also trying to get all of the best gear and weapons from Bitterblack Island. Just learned that you are more prone to get specific gear depending on what vocation you choose after defeating Daimon's evolved form. Really wish they'd make another Dragon's Dogma game and add to it by making a larger world and a bigger bestiary, weapons, armor, etc.

Only for fighting but 95% rest of the games use the d-pad for items and it works perfectly well. It's probably the best controller for shooters.

BBI is small though. You know what I mean? Gransys is also small in comparison to games like Skyrim. If both of those companies came together they would make a monster of a game. My main problem with Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen, is the world is too small, the NPC's add very little in terms of interaction compared to a game like Fable, and the Bestiary could have a bit more monsters in it. I mean they could have thrown in giant spiders, ant lion's, man eating slime monsters, hippo griff's, and gave you the option to tailor the way your armor looked. Or it could have been based on character disposition. The best heavy armor in the game makes you look like a bad guy. Just things like that. but I just read that there is a Dragon's Dogma online game that is either in the works, or already out in Japan.

DD2 might get made if it does well on the PC.

Wow. You'd think that if they wanted to do well, that they would have allowed the entire world to get in on that new game that they have. Then again, I used to play DCUO, and it left a bad taste in my mouth once I realized that I was just another mouse on a wheel vying for the unreachable cheese. However DD does nearly everything that I've wanted a game to do in terms of combat mechanics (I really want a Def Jam Fight for NY engine) but this is very close.

Anyone played/playing Xenoverse? How's it play?I really like Budokai 3, so wondering where to go from here. The Ultimate Tenkaichi is supposed to be terrible, or so they say ("They" being Tenkaichi 3 fans). Burst Limit only goes up to the Cell Saga, and virtually no one seems to like Raging Blast..
Ultimate Tenkaichi can be fun if all you're doing is watching the fights, the game is PURELY based on Luck, there is absolutely NO skill involved whatsoever.

Ew.I honestly dunno how you can put Raging Blast 2 above Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
And cdtm, what about Xenoverse do you need to know about specifically? The character creation is pretty ace. Well not the best, but about as good as it'll get for a Dragon Ball game, and has pretty much the most unique way of having you go through the sagas, etc.
