Only real problem is the disco level lags like crazy.
That's the only part, though.
Anyways, anyone into Contra style games? I just discovered Hard Corps: Uprising, but the price is kind of a turn off. For 14.99, it better be good and have a lot of content.
Is it as good as, say, Shattered Soldier (Or Metal.Slug?)

I played for about 2 minutes.
Not sure if I like it or not. I was hoping to get into the Overwatch beta this weekend but nothing. For some reason, I feel like playing a TF2 like game. I might just download TF2 and play some of the vanilla servers.
Caught Strider on a sale, after passing the last 500 (Wish Hard Corps Uprising would have even one of those).
Liking it. Beats Shadow Complex by a hair, as far as Metroidvania's go.
A common complaint is how it's not enough like the arcade game, but those people could boot up Mame if that's what they want (Or buy a classic game pack).
Tbh, I always enjoyed the NES version of Strider over the arcade version, which also had Metroid like elements.
Was planning on finally getting around to Bionic Commando Rearmed, because I was all about the classic NES game, and beat it more times then I could count. But after hearing the music, and thinking about the rendered look compared to sprite art, I'm not feeling it..
So will probably check out Dark Arisen, after Agents of Shield..
