Yeah, I was able to play it on Windows 7. Not only does it fix compatibility issues, but I think it even makes the graphics look a bit better too. As well as just fixing some bugs. Prior to that there was still a work around to get it to work..but it would still have bugs like sometimes the game would just suddenly minimize itself for no reason and then when you maximized it again the screen would be very dark.

I always liked this version of Kain. He's throwing out energy bolts and shit. Has items that can slow down time, has powers to flay people and all this other stuff. But by Defiance all he really has is..telekinesis. I realize the reason for this is the time travel shenanigans, but I liked when Kain had a lot more options at his disposal. Also BO1 was a lot less linear.

I just found it cool you could kill an enemy and suck its blood and gain back health..and then you could leave and come back later and murder the enemies ghost and suck on it's..ectoplasm or whatever to regain magic. Kain won't just eat you he will eat your spirit as well.

But here is one site:

http://www.thelostworlds.net/Software/Blood_Omen_PC_Patch_for_XP_and_Vista.html

I know it says its only for Windows XP and Vista, but it works for Windows 7 too.

Though I suppose you could also just download a playstation 1 emulator and the rom and play it on there too.

Ah, sucks man.

I would play DCUO if it let me play official heroes in PVE, tbh. Or just gave out licensed costumes so I could make my own. None of this "close enough" stuff.

pc or console?

You're in luck brother. DCUO made it so that you can play as iconic characters in several settings. But you can only play with other iconic characters. I played in Smallville for instance and used Batman (the real Batman). You have to buy iconics with either cash or with legends points in order to use any of them other than the free ones given like Robin though. Last time I played they had Captain Marvel, and a bunch of other new ones like Wonder Woman, Cheetah. I also read that you can get the Flash as of a couple months ago. Smallville was a lot harder when using the iconics vs your own toon though, so you've been warned. There are also the trollish players that will often sit around doing nothing when they know that you are going for the speed feat, or other feats. The boards tend to be too hard for any one particular iconic to survive alone, so it's best if you go in with people that you know. They also came out with the new Nuclear tank power a la Firestorm. Looked decent from the Youtube vids. I haven't played for just over a year now my main has 172 SP from what I recall. I may hop back on board in a few months from now.

Devil May Cry, from the HD collection.

Really hasn't aged well.

What exactly is the game mode like with these heroes?

Edit: Just googled it. So theyre basically four man instances? I'll have to see if I can find a list of available heroes.

Found it. No Aquaman, no dice.

Pokken Tournament. Solid game, I'm still not all that experienced on the system, but it has some nice depth (I wasn't really sure it'd be the case).

Having a few days off, so revisiting some old games.

Overlord 2, Vampire the Masquerade, Pirates of the Caribbean and Homeworld.

I'm surprised how well integrated the follow mechanic actually works in Overlord 2, the age of the game taken into consideration.

Glad to hear. Have liked more and more what I've seen of it based on short reviews and some things. Just not sure when I'll get it if I do due to other things am invested in and other stuff coming out in the future... Star Fox Zero in Wii U's case.

PS4. I don't have a PC that's fast enough to run it on at the moment. I'm using a netbook.

Sry. Uhm they may come out with an Aquaman character in the near future. But it's going to take time. I wonder why they haven't made one now that I think of it? He can't be for behind I guess, but maybe it's due to his power set? He doesn't have that many hard hitting energy powers, or the gimmicks that Batman has. I guess they could give him mental powers and the use of his trident to simulate his lack of energy projectile power?

When I made my Aquaman in DCUO, he was a controller with a mix of mental and physical powers. It worked fine for me.

In my experience while playing DCUO. Your main toon is actually better than the iconics to a degree. This is something that I noticed during PvP though. The iconic characters are under powered in comparison, unless they tweaked it over the past yr that I've been away from the game. It shows in the 4 man instances, compared to when you take your main toon through them. I heard that they may work on an 8 player raid using iconic characters, but that's yet to be seen.

Like I was saying though, Aquaman can't be far behind, although I've always wanted them to make Lobo (snicker). Guns, bombs, and bike chains. When I was playing, they introduced advanced mechanics, that allow toons to get back power instantly after doing certain combos. Now if only they could make elemental power sets highly resistant to similar powers, IE being difficult to be frozen solid if you are ice based. Advanced mechanics work the best with controller characters, so it left me feeling as if DC was doing the same old shit at keeping certain aspects of the game extremely uneven.

Part of me feels as if they should tear the entire game apart, and remake it, while the other part of me is dying to play it again. I stopped playing because I recall getting very impatient with the various personalities that multi player games present. I remember having to save some poor girl that I didn't even know from being attacked by some young hoodlum claiming that she was his property. Blew my mind.

I might give it a go, but I genuinely don't feel a massive desire to do so. Maybe once I try it, it'll seem better.

Oh hey I forgot to tell you, DCUO will be cross platforming, unless that's actually old news and they've already done so. Any -Pr- if you do decide to give it a go, hope you enjoy.

Nice. I always preferred the mouse camera controls to the stick ones, which was sad as when I played on ps3 I played with more people.

Thanks a lot 👆

Playing SR 1 now a bit, beat the first boss. Feels a lot like SR 2, except for said bosses. Liking that vamps have limited immortality, as they should.

I attacked and killed the crossbowman... that means all vampire hunters will hate me now? That's what I read on the Internet 😂

Romance alien booty in Mass Effect. Talk to Ashely immediately after. "So I heard you have a thing for Liara".

WHEN??

I can only assume everyones a major gossip in this game. That, or they leave the speaker systems on all over the ship.

Used to play it a lot in PS4, too. Might dust off my old Controller (Mental) and let you know hehe.
