Looking at the Smash clone with cartoon characters.

Sounds like a mobile free to play thing, so dunno if worth the time investment.

Been getting back into Granblue Fantasy VS. Didn't realize they added new mechanics. Seems to have gotten more active recently too, which is nice. It's a cool fighting game.

Killer Instinct (2013). Man, i love to replay the game due to additional Characters like Arbiter & General Raam at the honest

Tbh, i'm looking forward for video game developers like Capcom, Square Enix, SEGA Ubisoft or smth like that with the style of Smash

Anw, currently downloading Mass Effect: Andromeda again due to stopped in the middle of the story 🤪

So, SNES emulation:

4:3 or 8:7 aspect?

Decided on 4:3. It's how the games were displayed back in the day, and I prefer to not take up even LESS screen real estate.

And speaking of retro games, I planned on buying Cowabunga Collection, but read that Turtles in Time is emulated too fast.

That might be a deal breaker, as I was already on the fence because Shredder's Revenge makes it hard to go back to earlier games.

Final Fantasy 3 Woolsey Edition Uncensored.

I used to own the cart. Then I traded it for a copy of Contra 3. Then I lost Contra 3.

Played a chunk of that game, but got bored.

ME3 is still my favorite of the series, though 1 and 2 are also solid.

Yeah, ME3 is also my favourite. What I wanted from a third game is exactly what I got.

Thought ME3 was a step down myself, in terms of loyalty missions and character stuff. Only exception being Citadel DLC, but that doesn't count

Multiple people are unironically saying that Mass Effect 3 is the best of the trilogy….

It’s not merely the end that’s a massive disappointment. The game is a big step down from both of the previous games in nearly every way. The story is worse (Kai Leng anybody?), the characters are worse, there are very few side quests, it's very linear, and you have far less choices; especially when it comes to dialogue. They dumbed down the game to such a point that it was barely an RPG. The only improvement is some slight refinement to the gameplay.

Meh, it was the ending of a trilogy where the Reapers were committing universe wide genocide so I don't really feel the need of more character building stuff. Each main character had their specific moments.

Even Citadel DLC doesn't make much sense when adding it to the timeline. Universe ending war with sentient machines that can destroy entire planets and the leader of the war effort is partying it up.

That being said, I'm cool with that because it was enjoyable experience.

To be fair Rob said it was his favorite, not best in series.

When is the last time you've played the first game?

I would considering Mass Effect 3 more RPG like than Mass Effect 2. It might less choices to make but I'm not what they could of done when they needed to take into account all the other decisions you make throughout the first game.

That being said, Mass Effect 2 is probably a better game (the last mission has probably the biggest stakes than any other game I have played).

But I still prefer the third. I had super high expectations on how the trilogy would end and it met them. It sometimes weird like that. Some of my favorites games play out like that...(Half Life 2 for example) while some amazing games are less impressive for me because it didnt meet them (my issue, not the game).

Replaying Sekiro for a long time... Man, kinda missed any fast-paced SoulsBorne like that tbh. Anw, looking forward to download Elden Ring again at my Laptop. Idk if i could beat it since i didn't continue in the middle of the game tho. Well, we'll just see about it

Dead Space. Seasonal game, I figure.

Battlefield 2042. I know alot of people kinda hated it very much, but still i want to wait for the next one tbh.

I think EA has one more chance with Battlefield before they shelve it for a few years.
Different peeps are looking after it now and supposedly going to take a long time making it.

The next Battlefield should be this:
- keep 32x32 map sizes (the sweet spot)
- have about 5-10 new maps
- a SP campaign that doesn't completely mimic CoD.
- modern warfare
- all fan favorite maps remade with new tech.
- have old school conquest mode like BF2 and original.
- have a commander mode as a toggle
- have different time periods (modern, cold war era, WW2/WW1)
- all modes from the start.
- a ton of vehicles
- a ton of different armies.

Treat the package like Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros Ultimate.

Trying to get into Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition.

Seems kind of dull compared to, say, Torchlight, but I want to give it a fair chance.
