I thought people liked overly critical complainers. i mean, Angry Video Game Nerd made an entire cottage industry out of it. Nostalgia Critic and Linkara, all they do is complain and nitpick.

I think EA has one more chance with Battlefield before they shelve it for a few years.
Different peeps are looking after it now and supposedly going to take a long time making it.The next Battlefield should be this:
- keep 32x32 map sizes (the sweet spot)
- have about 5-10 new maps
- a SP campaign that doesn't completely mimic CoD.
- modern warfare
- all fan favorite maps remade with new tech.
- have old school conquest mode like BF2 and original.
- have a commander mode as a toggle
- have different time periods (modern, cold war era, WW2/WW1)
- all modes from the start.
- a ton of vehicles
- a ton of different armies.Treat the package like Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros Ultimate.

Angry Video Game Nerd doesn't really review the games he plays. He is playing a character and outlining the ridiculousness of the gameplay mechanics. His review of Top Gun NES game is totally what I felt when I was a kid playing it....it's utter garbage. He rarely reviews quality games. He is basically 1980s kids childhoods when we screamed at the TV when something cheap occurred (which was often).
Nostalgia Critic is a **** face. He reviews media so your example is good. His review of Pink Floyd's The Wall is totally shit show and shows how little he knows about anything.
Honestly, most Youtubers can **** off. Most videos are just people regurgitating a wikipedia page and calling it a documentary. Even worst is happening when they complain about people being woke (oh no...a black dwarf)...because it just generally shows how ****ing sad they are and most likely racist.
Yeah, maybe not the best because tons of FPS do different things but I think Doom Eternal is utterly fantastic.
They nailed the combat, music, environments and brought in atmosphere, interesting story and traversal areas.
After ID Software updated the graphics to allow ray tracing, I replayed it with the DLC and still had a blast (that's about a year after I originally played it).

Kind of true actually. I say Duke Nukem 3d, especially with mods like Alien Armageddon or Duke Forces, is way more fun.
So what makes Eternal good then? What scratch does it itch that Doom 2 modded gigawads (Or games like Halo or Prey or Bulletstorm) won't?
