Sounds like you can't get past the first boss in those sort of games, Git gud.

👆

I beat the asylum demon first try. 😛

Souls games are for scrubs who can't handle Devil May Cry.

Ellden Ring is woke garbage!

I'm getting a proper good game, a game I always said was a Mastercraft in gaming, Doom Eternal!

You people and your anti-Doom bias disgust me.

Not one of you recommends Sunset Overdrive! For shame.

Currently playing Neir Automata, Doom Eternal, and Sunset Overdrive.

Thinking of going back to Project Sylpheed, Squaresofts only space shooter was a great one, too bad it never became backwards compatible or on Steam.

Played the FFXVI demo earlier this week. The combat was surprisingly deep and the story...

Seriously, it was excellent. Felt like a pilot episode for a spectacular fantasy show. I was very impressed.

That's what they said about Diablo 3. 😂

Who said that? The voices in your head?

Because a demo totally justifies your hyper walking. 😂

Final Fantasy has a great story.

Said no one ever. Doubt this will stand side by side with Nier Automata or Persona.

Settle down. I spoke only about the demo. We'll see if the rest of the game can match it.

And the main plots for Persona have never been great. Quite odd to shit on FF, but then prop up Persona as a paragon of storytelling.

Nier Automata's narrative beats are carried entirely by its soundtrack. You'll see that as you play more.

The weebs who obsess over it are too desensitized to anime tropes to see how cringe the game is.

Granted, Final Fantasy/Persona can be just as cringe. They're usually fun to play though.

Uh oh. Well, can't be worse then FF 10.

Glad I got Sunset Overdrive, that's the guaranteed good experience.

Plus Doom Eternal. Starting out on the second hardest difficulty.

Those Arachnotrons are assholes, almost EVERY time one enters the battlefield my flow turns to shite. Cacodemons I can handle easy, those bat winged things or leaping bastards are no sweat, but the spiders either rip you up while you're trying to ignore them and deal with smaller fish, or you get torn up focusing on taking them out because they move way too fast for their size and their weak point is hard to hit, and they tank a ton.

I also don't like how sticky grenades and the full auto mod is on the same gun, ideally I'd sticky the weak point then auto to finish, but switching mods takes time and you really get way too much use out of sticky's to not have them on at all times. I was ganked more then once by Cacodemons due to not having sticky bombs ready.

I JUST unlocked flame gun and blood punch, so we'll see if maybe flaming them stuns them.

I should get back to Diaco Elysium after I'm done qithq Nier, I had no idea whar I was doing and kind of got into other games. The super long round about dialog trees also didn't help, you'd wanna play for an hour before bed and find yourself three hours into a conversation with your tie.

It's fun but really had no sense of making informed choices, had no clue what anything was.

Hey speaking of weeb games..

Isn't Zelda like the ultimate weeb game? 😂

Seriously, it's got so many tropes but everyone just pretends it's not vintage Japanese.

Forgot about Witcher 3.

But I'd better not. I already bought three games, Doom Eternal, Sunset Overdrive, and Nier Automata. And the fact is I haven't even scratched the surface on Skyrim, or got further then about halfway into Dragons Dogma, or heck beaten Witcher 2.

I should really play what I have and wait on the next sale, 24 dollars a pop adds up.

Replayed Primal (PS2)

i still like the story and setting, Its the combat system that lets it down.

So I bought Witcher 3. Neat game, better then the show by far.

Horseback riding is kind of a let down, the horse is way harder to control compared to Red Dead Redemption.

Finished up Persona 5 Strikers.

Playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 now. Took such a long time off I forgot how to play. Just had too many other, higher priority games when I started the first time.
