Dusted off Prey 2017, the psychic machines are ridiculous.

Decided to get the teleport ability to help with tight spots, but I'm debating loading up an older save and getting mimic instead for the gate busting possibilities.

Fact is I loaded up on stealth, I probably should not be aggroing everything with attacks when I could simply sneak around and rack up psychscope unlocks from the shadows.

Prey 2017 was a good game

still too many people i've seen that refuse to play it because its not the sequel to 2006.

Either proves he was right, or proves tiers are BS and it's all about the driver, not the vehicle.

It's a little of both. Modern fighting games are much more balanced than older ones, so you can win with most characters. Power differences exist but it's a smaller gap. And individual matchups often matter more.

Even when problematic characters get released, like pre-nerf Leroy in Tekken 7, developers usually patch them before long.

Played a little Overload. Think Descent.

It has a "feature" I really like; No in mission saves.

Save scumming is IMPOSSIBLE. You either git gud or go home.

Even Doom Eternal doesn't have that.

Back to Hades. Left the game after my first clear, now am working on my first heat. The real game begins now.

Just unlocked Aspect of Zeus for the Chaos Shield, the special is a vortex of death that just slowly spins across the map.at a lazy pace and stun locks just about anything that can be stun locked. Obv you want to load this up with damage buffs like Dionysus drunken leech effects.

Opted to take the crystal laser casts, meaning I can set traps and focus on defense. For me who struggles to switch from attack to defend this could be my aspect.

My only clear was with the gun, and triple bomb, same concept I only dodged and spammed from a distance.

Still getting through The Sinking City, Up to Noisedive main quest

has the KKK involved now, I asked the Imperial Wizard to show me a magic trick which pissed him off and you get a achievement from it.

Tried out the first Twisted Metal game since they've added 1 & 2 to the PSN store with trophies

oof..that first outing is very rough and unbalanced.

Found out what the problem was with Twisted Metal 1, It was on Normal so i decided to put it on Easy now its alot more fun

the game's ai on Normal is ****en bullshit and unbalanced.

Black is bad like that, could never get past the third stage on normal.

I haven't got a problem with playing games on harder difficulties, But i feel like alot of the time they don't playtest.

Indivisible.

Having way more fun with it than I thought I would.

Evo sold out Mandalay Bay this year. It seems like Sony purchasing the tournament has been a good move. The growth has been insane.

...meanwhile, Nintendo is still actively sabotaging its own competitive games. ermm

Although, it's hilarious some of the earlier Top 6 matches were more entertaining than Grand Finals in Tekken and Soul Calibur.

I definitely didn't want to watch ****ing Kunimitsu mirrors in Tekken. And didn't need to see Geralt again in Soul Calibur. The Cassandra/Taki match was way more fun, as were the Bob and Katarina matches in Tekken.

Dark Souls Remastered. Really tight experience so far.

Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights

On a lark, I decided to break out the old Xbox 360, for some Ninja Gaiden Black. Holds up very well, still an all time great action game.

Great game, hate the ghost fish.

Baldur's Gate 3. Incredible game.

The second is just as good, different play style but incredible experience. A shame it never made it onto the compilations.

I just don't have the patience for Dying Light.

Exploration is a chore because of the fact the paths are set up like parcour puzzles, which is frustrating enough without these speedy chaser zombies running after you. Compounded by the fact you are made of paper and die easily until you get your stats up, which requires grinding out points ala Dead Rising (And I did not.enjoy Dead Rising until I grinded out levels and the True Mega Buster)

Given that all almost all missions are fetch quests, and that clearing safe houses requires not being a wet noodle, this has nothing for me.

I'd rather be playing Metal Gear Rising or Devil May Cry or something that isn't 100% stat based and let's you do well even at lower stat levels with some persistence.
