^ I played the original way back when it came out. I remember having to practice the timings on trash mobs so I wouldn't mess them up during important fights. The later combos get intense.

The ones that i have trouble with are the ones that involve 5 moves and above.

The Separate Ways dlc for RE4make. I wish we could unlock her Assignment Ada outfit. Seems weird they didn't include that.

I've also been revisiting Code Vein lately.

Sigil 2. John Romero's new nine-level episode for Doom 1

Romero loves his Cyberdemons.

100% completed Lies of P then beat LIMBO (clearing out the catalog). Now I'm playing Volgarr the Viking and it makes any Soulslike look like Elmo's World it's so ****ing hard.

Anyone played that new-ish Star Ocean game (The Divine Force, not Second Story R)? The trailers looked pretty cool, but as with the last game it's been pretty horrifically panned.

Is it just a story thing or is the gameplay ass too?

On topic: Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition, do I really have to do a whole New Game+ just to get the bonus Max Level and Max Paragon bonuses for ME2? I did everything in the game for Paragon, 100%'d every planet, etc.

Is the max level and Paragon bonus a big deal?

Seems like those games are in need of a overhaul, last couple of games have been average or bad.

Tried out the game Bound by Flame, Didn't really like it

I have no idea, I honestly tapped out.

It was certainly well-received by the people who like extremely hard unforgiving action platformers. I thought I'd be one of those people but I'm not tough enough for that game and I'm currently doing SL1 playthroughs of FromSoft's catalogue until Shadows of the Erdtree is out.

Super Mario Thousand Year Door on my Gamecube.

The old Cube normally looks good on an LCD but that train stage has all kinds of flickering and textures smearing from moving around, guess it's those complex patterns on the walls.

Just played Zeno Clash 1 and 2, what a surreal fever dream of a couple of games, but they have by far the best hand to hand combat mechanics of any first person game I've ever played and the atmosphere is so bizarre and original it's weirdly compelling.

Loved the first game, but it's easy to get caught in a loop where you end up spamming the few moves that actually work consistently.

Thinking of going on a puzzle game bender.

Probably should start by beating Portal 2, never did finish that one after finishing the coop levels with a friend. Than maybe the Q.U.B.E. collection or The Talos Principle..

😆 Hurr durr gots to play romeroooo!

Sigil sucks and John was never good, Brutal Doom beats his design into oblivion. You could at least play Doom 64,.at least that's halfway decent and shows you don't have hopelessly shite taste!

Saw Limbo and got my hopes up, but I see Lies of P and that Elden Ring expansion are in there. Which requires a modern console, so I can't participate.

Limbo was awesome though, beat it years ago. Do Inside next if you got it, get it if you don't.

.....Volgarr the Viking actually looks like something my laptop can do though...

Dantes Inferno is misunderstood. The hero is condemned by people for what I can only imagine are anti-christian sentiments.

When you look at it objectively Dante is no more flawed than Kratos, and in fact may be more heroic on the sense he faces his sins and tries to rescue others from his fate.

Rez and Child of Eden.

Amazing games that make you glad you don't have epilepsy.

Actually kind of surprised to see talk of a game that isn't from From. Frrom games seriously limits my participation unless we're talking old Playstation Armored Core games, most PC ports of Soulslikes require heftier systems than I'm rocking.

Than again it's not like there's any real game talk at all that isn't Elden Ring. I mean I'm the only one who commented on Limbo. BTW how deep is that back catelog if Limbo clears it, I probably have a 300-400 Steam games alone I haven't gotten to, another 100-200 Epic, plus my entire back catalog from the 7th, 6th, and 5th gens.

That's the reason I'm not planning on sinking more money in new hardware, why buy Witcher 3 and only finish about 20% before I get bored?

I've gotten pretty good at clearing my catalogue these days.

Right now I'm finally doing my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 (including Phantom Liberty) and it's actually great. The best first-person action RPG. It clears Skyrim in most of the things I care about tbh, namely writing and build variety.

Is it as bad as they say?

Just Cause 2 and Watch Dogs 2 failed to hook me, I have the feeling Cyberpunk would be the same.
