The second is just as good, different play style but incredible experience. A shame it never made it onto the compilations.
Second is better in a lot of ways. More weapons and better bosses imo. Yeah, I don’t know why they used the inferior Sigma versions for the master collection, or whatever it was called.
Yeah Star Rail is definitely fun.
I understand it has an entire 40 hour story campaign. And yet all people seem to care about is something about something called banners and rare characters.
I don't get modern gamers, a 25 hour story was considered 60 bucks well spent in the NES age, nowadays they give out 40 hour stories for free and all people want is endless WoW style grinding.
People gotta have their waifus and husbandos.
And, honestly, I might've been willing to drop some cash on Star Rail, but I'm just disappointed with the paid character designs. The far future setting has so much potential for interesting abilities, yet they keep throwing Genshin Impact rejects at us.
Silver Wolf was more in the right direction. She and her abilities actually fit the sci-fi theme. Most everyone else just feels like generic feudal fantasy warrior types.
I got a 5 star red haired woman who talks with you at the start, about how she'd be managing her rich family's money if she wasn't the personal assistant of the eccentric lady who built the space station and abandoned it.
Is that good? In four month old Reddit's everyone talked about how getting four characters for free is impossible yet it seems I got four in the tutorial.
Unless Silver Wolf and that other guy don't count and won't be there later.
An 9ld friend snookered me at CT's Retro World Expo. They have these free arcade games, so we tried MK1, and I was expecting the usual feeling out process as we figure out the special moves and such, and he spammed the crap out of me with normals.. COMPLETELY out of character for him.
I made the mistake of picking unfamiliar characters to make it more competitive, if I did Scorpion or Ken in Street, I'd have swept him.
No regrets, I've dominated him for 20 years of our friendship, if he was playing to win and I was dicking around good on him. Besides, I paid him back at the pool hall. 🙂

This is true. 🙂
Personally I place Metroid Prime 1 in the same category as Super Metroid, the stone cold classics yet to be outdone. But that doesn't mean I don't want more experiences.
^ I played the original way back when it came out. I remember having to practice the timings on trash mobs so I wouldn't mess them up during important fights. The later combos get intense.
My friends and I loved that game though. Was hoping we'd get another that maybe covered the Dragoon Campaign, but it was not to be.
Was playing Spider-Man 2.
Technically decent, it looks very nice and runs well enough. Combat, while not a huge leap from the first one, is still a lot of fun when it's not boss fights in cramped areas because the combat system really isn't designed for that.
Best part of the game is the

fifteen or so minutes when you get to play as Venom and just go to town.
Otherwise, it's fine. I did get the distinct impression, though, that Insomniac really wanted to make a game that focused more on Miles and MJ, and Peter just kind of got in the way.
