Kinda bs that it's not on any digital stores.

Any mod recreations out there for available games?

Why?

How is Blizzards fault he can't access his email account.
When changing emails, its his responsibility to change accounts to point to the new email address. If an online stores account is pointing to a non-accessible email addresses...what can they do?

I guess you can blame Blizzard for locking his account out but I assume they are doing it to protect the account to some fishy behavior.

It's a game, not a bank account. Haven't even thought about playing it since it came out, much less anticipating a lockout, that requires proof of ownership. I mean, this never happens with other online services, like Xbox Live or Steam (How the heck could I prove I own my Steam account, if it was depending on old emails, chats, or defunct credit cards?)

All that you say may be true, but I'm not about to throw another penny their way, either way.

It's online store account, not just a game. You can't expect any online store to unlock an account without confirming your identity. If you never bothered to add other pieces of personal information that is needed...what do you expect them to do?

It's the same thing with Steam or any other online store. Steam allows you to use a phone number as a secondary option but you have to set that up prior to that.

I don't really understand how this is surprising anymore. Onilne stores/websites get crucified by media/people if they allow free access to people accounts.

Want to play Diablo 3, but apparently Blizzard locked my account from hackers.

The Hotmail I used to sign up is also locked.

And I can't even prove I own the game, because I can't possibly remember my email contact information from 15-20 years ago when I last used it as an actual email address before switching to Yahoo and Gmail, nor any chat information from chat programs I never used.

60 dollars down the shitter.

Last time I ever spend a dime on Blizzard.

That's a shame because you're missing out. Do you have an xbox 360? Buy that version. I played a bit of the PC version, but I played the entire game start to finish on the 360. It's better because it gives you this move where you can use the right joystick to make your character do a roll. I can't tell you how useful this is.

I know you said you won't spend anymore money on the company, but I will note you can get a used copy of diablo 3 from gamestop for 5 bucks. So the money you spend on that doesn't go to them.

That does suck I didn't know that, I'm lucky enough to still have a cd-rom of it lol.

I recently was playing Phantom Dust again. What a great f*cking game.

A used copy is a different story, Blizz doesn't get a dime of that.

Depends on whether they make you buy into Gold just to play solo.

Hyper Light Drifter boss rush.

Thinking about replaying normal to unlock the arena's and outfits I totally missed the first time.

Also learned about the Switch version getting exclusive content. Guess I have no right to complain, since I didn't buy the game, but them making that sort of deal to appease Nintendo at the expense of literally everyone else who supported them is still disappointing.

Nah I didn't need to buy into anything and I bought my copy used.

Debating on the special edition with the dlc, for 20.

I'd say go for it. I myself only played the vanilla version.

As for now, I just installed "Necrovision".

YouTube video

Megaman 2.

On the Anniversary Collection, on a GameCube.

I don't get people who claim the reversed GameCube controls trip them up. The giant green button just screams "Shoot". Never once even had to think about it, when switching between Megaman games with conventional controls on different consoles and the GameCube package.

Forgotten Worlds.

The definitive 80's shooter, where jet packing muscle men wearing sun glasses kill aliens.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Overwatch.

Any Tempest fans here? Either arcade edition, or Tempest 2000?

Just a little Indy freeware game that's been around for years, for PC. Really well polished remake of the Atari Jaguars Tempest 2000, with a complete map set, gamepad and mouse support, good visuals. It's unofficial, of course, but was made with permission from Jeff Minter (Although he's only the programmer for T2K, not sure if he has any rights to the software)

Abzu.

For about a half hour. Feels less like playing a game, and more like watching some YouTube video of someone else playing that's boring you to tears, but that you're too lazy to switch away from.

NES Double Dragon 2.

Everyone says it's the best Double Dragon. It is not.

Almost every death is some cheap pit drop, or platformer fail. The brawling itself is actually pretty easy, you never even need the insanely difficult to execute flying knee unless you're speed running.

Bless fan game content creators. They put the "fun" back in "game".
