Most Powerful Era?

There's also the other end with Kanan and Ezra, though.

Who are average force users. Hell, Kanan is certainly better than most Jedi Knights considering he defeated the Inquisitor.

Also I'm assuming this is EU in which case those two don't even exist.

Truly the most powerful era is the one with the least amount of force users in it. :makessense:

If it's a question of which has, on average, the most powerful force users then yes. No need to be bitter about it.

Not bitter, just chuckling at the absurdity.

And yet it's true. 👆 As King Joker has said he is asking which era has the most powerful average force users and it's likely the OT. Otherwise probably NJO.

Legends/canon both allowed.

If we're not taking numbers into account, then yea, you get results like that.

There's different ways to count.

"Era with the highest average" (easily skewed in low-number eras)

"Era with the individually highest" (obviously goes to the one with the highest individual, making 'era' kinda pointless)

"Era with the most total power in force users" (heavily weighed by numbers)

and

"Era with the greatest number of strong force users" (influenced by both numbers and individually strongest- An era without numbers cannot win, but an era with numbers but inferior training like late-New Sith Wars also cannot win)

Are all ways to do it.

The results being, Rebellion era, Fate of the Jedi, probably TOR, and either TOR or CW, respectively.

Well Lucas did refer to the PT era as the prime of the jedi order in the context of saber prowess. Sidious and Yoda are head and shoulders above the best of every other era, except Luke and Jacen, per feats and accolades, with Dooku only having a few from all eras to rival or exceed him (before anyone argues that notion, more objective sources back it heavily, along with Dooku's feats). I think that speaks volumes of the PT era's quality. In terms of sheer numbers, though, of course the PT falls far behind other eras, but the likely hood of coming across a weak and talentless force user would be rare as opposed to other eras if we consider Lucas' comment in it's proper context.

Just take a look at padawans such as Ahsoka and Bariss for a glimpse of quality.

Same goes for Mace and Anakin.

PT Era has Sidious, Yoda, Plagueis and possibly Talzin from the highest tier, while TOR Era has only Vitiate who needs amps to be on their level.

PT Era has Dooku, Mace, Anakin/Vader, while TOR Era has Malgus and Revan.

Below them are Kenobi, Maul, Satele, Hot, EmpWrath2, Nyrris...
Next below is Ventress, Opress, Koon, Tiin, Fisto, Kolar, Ti and a lot of duelists of their level. Against Darach, Zallow, Leener, Scourge

That's not the point.

TOR era have sheer numbers and great quality.

Gonna go with FOTJ era. Some of, not arguably, the most powerful force users ever in Luke Skywalker and Abeloth. Then you have other, lesser powers like Caedus, Kyp, Krayt etc.

I am sorry but Luke's standing as the most powerful Force-user is in doubt.

Why?

Because the Father is.

Eh. I know that. TBH I never include the Ones and other godlike abominations in these debates.

I mean in the context of most poweful Jedi/Sith Luke is the most powerful, is he not?

He should be, but Legacy era stuffed him up and I know he isn't looked upon favorably on these boards.

Sidious and Krayt >, tbh.

Krayt > Luke?

😂
