How Powerful Is Ahsoka Now?

Started by DarthAnt6636 pages

In canon, in terms of combatants:

1. Mace Windu
2. Master Yoda
3. Anakin Skywalker
4. Obi-Wan Kenobi
5. Luke Skywalker

and the argument for high-end council members like Kit Fisto can be made too if we are taking the ROTS novel as canon.

How so, lol?

Grievous in the ROTS novel is an utter monster capable of overwhelming Kenobi's practically perfect defenses through sheer speed (something Dooku couldn't do).

So then if we got people like Kit Fisto contending / beating that guy, it's pretty damn impressive. mmm

I've always wondered myself if General Grievous at the beginning of the Clone Wars and General Grievous by the end of the Clone Wars are equally proficient combatants.

I'ma go with no in both continuities.

His best feats are around the tail end of the clone wars, he continued to train with Dooku during the Clone Wars, and as far as I know only LOE/ROTS Grievous is confirmed as being a master of all 7 forms.

I credit the discrepancy as something that has more to do with how badly written the early arcs of TCW were. Ever since Season 3 (where they got their act together) Grievous has been pretty consistent with marginal gains.

To me it seems like he did better after Season 5 of the Clone Wars. Throwing down with Maul in SOD, beating Kenobi that quickly in the Utapau arc, throwing down with Windu on top of the train in LOE, and overloading Kenobi's defenses in ROTS stand out to me as being more impressive than the vast majority of his earlier fights.

With him gaining more experience and training as the Clone Wars progressed and not being a confirmed master of all 7 forms until around LOE, that makes a lot of sense to me.

Even in S4 he only lost to Ventress on a DS World.

Wasn't there a clip of TCW where Grievous handily beat Kenobi?

Yeah. Grievous has been a beast since his inception, not just near the end of the clone wars. Early Grievous, before lightsaber training, killed hundreds of clone troopers at Geonosis unarmed, as well as some Jedi who accompanied them, without leaving any trace behind, and then after a few weeks of lightsaber training it was said he surpassed most, if not all of Dooku's other acolytes. Early on he also has his Jedi team busting feat, and his defeating of Durge and Ventress. The only thing that ever threw a spanner in Grievous' consistency was early TCW.

Yeah a clip from an unfinished episode. The Kyber Crystal/Utapau Arc. Story reel with unfinished animatronics can be found on the official website. It is Canon.

there she goes

/gets impaled before sliding down both lightsaber blades and bleeds to death

dammit freshest

I gave her the privilege of killing herself and the Inquisitors the decency to let her have a fighting chance at living. What more do you want?

Nah, I still think Yoda would defeat Windu.

Well canon strongly indicates Windu legitimately beat Sidious whereas canon flat out says Sidious beat Yoda.

Doesn't matter even if Mace did legitimately beat Sidious in that fight given Mace's fight against Sidious took place in a completely different environment to Yoda's and had more than 1 contextual factor to influence it's result.

Besides Canon states Yoda is more powerful than Windu.
