How Powerful Is Ahsoka Now?

Wouldn't that be more to do with her knowing how he fights rather than an emotional edge? Or maybe they go hand in hand.

No, she whispered dirty personal things in Vader's ear while they dueled.

It's not just Filoni, Filoni says he comments the situation with Lucas. The only things we have pointing to Vader's 'superiority' over Sidious are a silly infograph and a quote which can be interpreted in more than one way.

Filoni tends to say one thing and show another though. Vader did seem to have moments of conflict to me personally. The moment where he shouts "AHSOKA" in a mix of Lantern's and Jones voices seemed pretty emotional on both sides tbh.
That's certainly one way to interpret it, but surely Filoni's (and Lucas'😉 interpretation and indeed his explicit and considered intentions take precedence over your own. mmm

And of course, we are talking about before Ahsoka cracked his mask.

Either that or he had excessive hate/annoyance and other emotions towards her which might also cloud his usual judgement.
Well that's just baseless, seeing as Vader is stated, by several sources, including those working on Rebels, to have full control over his emotions and what not.
In either case I love how people are clinging to Filoni's line on Vader having no emotional conflict, yet ignoring his line about Ahsoka standing a better chance than most because she knows Vader so well.
It was also stated by Ashley that the reverse is true.

EDIT: Found the quote and she actually says a bit more than that, and in general is quite revealing:

One thing, when it comes to Ahsoka's fighting style and also being able to even fight with Darth Vader, you realize, who trained her? Anakin Skywalker trained her. So this is explained to me by Dave - there's probably no one better to go up against Darth Vader. And I've also been told that if she goes against Vader, it might not be good for her. [Laughs] So I don't know how this is going to turn out, but if anyone is prepared to fight against Vader, it is Ahsoka, because she was trained by him. So she's very skilled. And so it will [also] be an interesting confrontation because if anybody knows her weaknesses, it's Darth Vader. If anyone knows his weaknesses it's Ahsoka. So it'll be interesting, that's for sure.

Just accept that Rebels Ahsoka is Sidious tier, and the most powerful Jedi in galactic history. 👆

How would she know how Vader fights, when she hasn't even seen Vader beforehand?
Because Anakin was her master. Sure, new body, new fighting style, but there's elements of the old guy there. Otherwise I have no idea why Filoni would make a point of it.

So yeah, that confirms it.

....... 😕 😕 😕

What weaknesses?....Vader =/= Anakin, da hell you guys...It was stated, I don't know...what 3 times just by the movies alone?

"The boy you trained, gone he is, consumed by Darth Vader."

"He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and become Darth Vader, when that happened, the good man who was your father was destroyed."

"That name, no longer has any meaning for me."

She knows Anakin, she doesn't know Vader at all. She doesn't know his mindset, she doesn't know his weaknesses.

Brah he may be emotionally different, but even if he retooled his style it stands to reason there are several mainstays of his original technique that remain. Ahsoka's knowledge for example of his weakness against speed, which remains, would put her in a position to have the sense to use the kind of agile offense she does to gain an initial advantage, rather than the more strength orientated tactics she uses against the Inquisitors.

Still, this has zero detriment on her skill as a duelist and ability to use those tactics effectively, and of course it works both ways. And seeing as both have developed their techniques significantly, I doubt either of them would be able to predict each other with any level of precision.

It wouldn't be the first time, the crew has stated something that was wrong...like Luke being a pacifist...ya know, despite ROTJ where he mercilessly killed Jabba's guards, threatened to kill Jabba twice, the speeder bike chase on Endor.

Vader is the Anakin who was consumed by the Dark Side. He didn't become a totally different person aside from philosophically, I guess. I don't find it strange at all that there are lingering similarities.

Ok which is fine, if she came to the thought that speed was his weakness, but what does that have to do with her being trained by Anakin who wasn't lacking speed or mobility compared to being Vader?

He kind of was, its not evident in the movies but its more pronounced in TCW.

What did Dooku exploit then on the Invisible Hand? mmm

Not as much I don't think, but anyway I guess I'll look passed that.

Just please...no more stupid comments Rebels crew regarding Luke because....no..

You get the idea.

Ahsoka doesn't even know it's Anakin at the start of the fight though, and even still I think anyone that isn't retarded can deduce that one of Vader's weaknesses is speed, lol.

Regardless, it would make sense if there were 'lingering similarities' in Vader's style from his time as a Jedi.

Lel, I didn't even consider that. mmm

Except even there Beni, the vids show that Anakin is more mobile/faster than as Vader.

But anyway, it's fine. I guess it's more along the lines of the commentary that get me. IE: "Vader trained her" No...Vader didn't train her, Anakin did. Yes they are the same person, but they are also not the same person either.
