Beerus did stop trying. Hit is a monster and Vegeta is getting worked, easily. The Cabba fight was interesting though.. cant wait for the subs. Goku will probably do better against Hit since he is seeing what is being dished out during the fight. Also, Vegeta fight against Hit doesn't mean that he does not have access to god Ki in his base. Hit could probably be just that powerful.

Where does the observation that Beerus stopped trying come from? I just skimmed through their fight in Super. Sure, Beerus did at first but then we see SSJ Goku hit him. Twice.

Goku says he doesn't feel any weaker. Then of course, Beerus comes to the conclusion that SSG's power did not disappear and became a part of him. The resume their fight and there really seems to be no difference in intensity. The commentator even says they are trading universe shattering blows... Heck, at one point SSJ Goku's attack has him briefly overwhelm Beerus's energy nullification while Beerus states "This is the power of a Super Sayian God" with a happy smirk on his face.

Interesting. From the sounds of all of that, I stand by my original thought that they weren't using god chi in their base form and therefore were operating more at Buu-saga base levels rather than RoF.

I'm not sure they're operating that low. Remember that Goku in base was evenly matched with 4th Form Frieza; according to Gohan, First Form Frieza was stronger than anything he'd ever felt, which includes Bootenks. It's very possible that Base Goku/Vegeta right now are on the same level as Boohan; Goku stomped Majin Boo's Universe 6 counterpart, after all.

According to Beerus, Buu-saga base Goku wasn't even a match for Namek saga Frieza. So them not getting way stronger is impossible tbh.

Which is why my stance is they seem to have two "base" forms. One where they use their god power (which is the base that fought against Freeza and Beerus) and one that does not (more similar to what we see in in DBZ). This would explain the apparent vast gap in power between SSJ and SSB Vegeta.

It's possible, but there are alternative explanations.

Frankly, I don't believe that they draw on their godly power at all until they go SSB; rather, their bodies have simply become stronger from exposure to it. Their power has been consistent, but overblown IMO.

In the case of his fight with Beerus, it's possible that the power just hadn't worn off completely yet. He definitely became weaker, though, and Beerus started using less of his power to beat him up. However, once pushed to his limits, even without training he began to tap into his SSG power again as he punched Beerus back into space (according to Beerus). What I make of this is that there was still latent godly ki within Goku, more than he has now, the only reason he wasn't able to turn into SSB then was lack of ability to harness it.

I loved how Hit took notice of the Blue form and immediately eyes Goku (indicating he judges Goku is also capable of the transformation, and likely the tougher challenge), who looked like he was already watching for Hit's reaction.

What a cool moment. No words exchanged, but it's as if Goku is saying, Hit we know you will be a boss, but what did you think of what Vegeta just did, impressed?

My guess is Hit isnt really more powerful then SSJB but his dimensional or psychic power allows him to beat it.It also looks like he is going for pressure points hence being an assassin.

Also Vegeta vs Cabba was a cool fight too bad the H2H animations are still crappy most of the times.

Yeah.. Seems big ki attacks are about the only time the animation can be even remotely cool (the classic Vegeta moves in his previous fight), but when it comes to direct H2H it's usually shit.

Still Vegeta b1tch slappin Cabba's ki barrage and letting him get a free shot to the face with a smile on his face was awesome!

One of the coolest Vegeta moments in Super.

If I had to make an educated guess:

SS3: 2-3% of Beerus' power
SBG: 3-6% of Beerus' power
SSBG: 18-24% of Beerus' power
SSG: 56-59% of Beerus' power
SSGSS/SSB: 66-69% of Beerus' power

Note that when Goku was fighting Beerus, SSBG was stronger than usual, on SSG level.

Also note that SS3 Goku was implied to have surpassed Mystic Gohan in BoG. So SBG could very well be between Bootenks and Boohan level...

When was it said that SS3 surpassed Mystic?

I said implied, not stated. Out of all the Saiyans he fought on earth, rage!Vegeta was the only one Beerus noted was stronger than Goku. Gohan certainly didn't fare any better, either.

I liked Vegeta vs Cabba, another fun fight.

Hit vs Vegeta looks awesome. Are these guys really all that much weaker than Beerus and Champa at this point though ?

Per your words, Gohan in Super is weaker than his Mystic self, so that means nothing.

Probably not unless Beerus was lying about using 100% of his power against Goku (who has obviously become more powerful.

No, per my words RoF Gohan is weaker than he was in BoG.

Carver loves his Gohan extra pussified though.

Why when both showed no signs of training?

I honestly don't care for Gohan but I do respect his words and the plot Akira was throwing at us.

It will be funny if Vegeta just wants to visit the Saiyan planet on universe 6 just to establish that its his birth rite to rule it.
