Dragon Ball Discussion Thread

I always liked 17's fighting style. His clash with Piccolo is one of my favorite showdowns in DBZ. I hope he doesn't get eliminated any time soon.

He's a cool character, love playing him in Budokai 3 Dragon Arena.

But #17 shouldn't be destroying characters Goku and Vegeta struggle with.

Just more proof that power levels are bullshit, and "take a guess" wins. 👆

But CD, he's been training on an island by himself for years to protect earth's wildlife from poachers!

Goku and Vegeta. You mean those guys fighting in their base forms to conserve their energy? And we've seen 17 go toe to toe with Saiyan Blue Goku so why couldn't he do what base Goku can't? C'mon, man. Now I know you're just looking for excuses.

Vegeta was SSJ.

Even conserving energy, almost ANY version of SSJ should be >>>>>>>> #17.

Hell, at this point base should be > android level, what with the god ki infusion.

Other than the nerd rage of not being able to let go of the previous established power scaling that was thrown under the bus, I haven't seen that much problem with these last episodes honestly. shrug Not among one of the best handled tournament arcs I've seen or anything, but I've been having fun with a decent portion of the fights so far, although yes, when I see some obviously reused animations, I call that out too when talking about the show with others.

Overall the ToP's been a mixed bag to me so far, though have found some fun moments with it here and there, but to each their own.

Superman pwns DBS.

If Carver doesn't reply to this in one day, it means he agrees by his silence. No matter how he backpeddles later. 👆

One of the universes should of had a version of the Justice League for kicks and giggles. I agree that Superman would be Jiren level.

Still say this would be one of the best ways to have Superman in Dragon Ball.

Isn't that pretty much what U11 is going for?

Didn't someone say earlier that each contestant feels the gravity of their home world?

Does that mean Goku and Vegeta are fighting under 10X gravity while the androids and Gohan are fighitng under regular earth gravity.

So the saiyans feel like they weigh about 700 kilos.

Meanwhil 17 is like a 62 kilo stick.

I think Earth technically counts as Goku's homeworld.

Kiss anime isn't working for me, what's another good place to watch.

kissanime's been in the shitter recently, yeah. Maybe try 9anime.to? I use Crunchyroll these days, the $5 a month isn't really a big deal, so I'm not sure how well that one's doing at the moment.

Nah I just checked the episode. WHis says for fairness each warrior feels the gravity of their Birth Planet. And Goku was born on Vegeta.
