True. Just doesnt make much sense. Why have 17 and Frieza KOed. They are fodder at this point.

Jiren kicking 17's head off the stage would be more likely, because of the rules.

Just doesn't have the same feel as Cell stepping on 16.

That said, I went back and looked at ep.127 again: Daishinkan said that we can "assume" #17 destroyed himself with a self-destruct. Additionally, we never actually saw Zen-Oh remove #17 from his GodPad, like he's done with pretty much everyone else that has been eliminated in the ToP. Could be a coincidence; could be more... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

However, if this turns out to be anything more than MUI Goku vs. Jiren, I'll be pretty disappointed... Especially with all the hype they're giving MUI. ermm

Oh man, you are right. Zen-Oh did not remove him on his GodPad...I really hope he doesnt come back too.

But yea I agree. MUI is not impresses at all if he does not take it to Jiren imo.

So Banpresto is currently teasing a silhouetted Goku figure that is slated for release in a few months. Thing is, he's clearly wearing his EoZ gear:

Tack that onto the final episode's title: "Goodbye Goku, Until the Day We Meet Again!", and it's starting to look like ep.131 will directly tie-into the EoZ chapters... Which also means that IF there is another DB anime in the future, it will logically take place AFTER the End of Z -- essentially overlapping the GT era. This speculation makes even more sense when you consider the fact that Oob has been randomly teased in DBS; in both the anime and manga.

...Which would be cool, because I'd LOVE to see how far current/MUI Goku could take a guy with Oob's latent potential... I'm guessing it'd make Freeza's gains look f*cking pathetic. 👆

If that happens, that means Z is Canon. Sorry peeps.

The fight between Goku and Uub only happened in the Anime of Z, not the Manga. If the ending of the ANIME from Z happens in CANON Super, this will make the Anime Canon as well since again, the fight scene that they are using came directly from the Anime.
