IIRC Nyax got amped insanely though - more than Luke (especially considering he was drawing off it longer). So there is your answer. 👆
Luke Skywalker should be good at drawing power from a nexus to fuel his own.

LOL sure.
I admit that you have me logically beat in the respect that no I cannot prove that Luke reached his full potential as envisioned by Lucas, but personally I think its self evident given what Luke is capable of, and what the writers realised Lucas was allowing them to do with him. If this were civil discussion about Luke's capabilities, I might go into that, but its not, as always its all about concessions and victories.
I'm not about that life, k?

Darth Sidious have superior showings then Luke Skywalker, honestly.
Luke Skywalker kills 15 deadly Yuuzhan Vong warriors:

Luke Skywalker telekinetically demolishes Yuuzhan Vong:

Luke Skywalker telekinetically hurls a huge rock with ease:

Its not about winning or losing. I sincerely believe that the Ultimate good guy of the mythos did not become twice more powerful than the ultimate bad guy. It doesn't make sense. And, my argument is not based on the lack of info regarding what GL envisioned.
But I won't go into this anymore since I achieved what I wanted to(which was to respectfully prove I'm right).

To be honest, I do think the implication was that Luke had more or less the same potential as his father. However, I think where people are going wrong is when they assume that if Anakin wasn't maimed he would have ever reached his full potential. IMO The only scenario where he could have truly achieved that is one where he remained on Mortis, tbh.
I think Anakin perhaps could have become what Luke is, or greater; but neither would have ever become 200% of Sidious, let's be honest.
