Doesn't change the fact that Maul is one of the deadliest Sith in Canon Sith history.

In fact he was stated as much on the old canon as well. So there's really no getting past that now.

I think it's at the beginning of episode 7 of season 3. It says that Ashoka grew stronger since Florrum.
