The duel between Luke and Vader in ROTJ has no bearing on if they fough again. The only thing that would matter is that if Luke gets angry he could possibly crush Vader. lol, at his fight against Luke on ESB and then look at ROTJ. You can see an obvious difference. Also Vader hardly did any attacking. Both were very relaxed in a manner of speaking as neither wanted to hurt the other. So with that Vade actually is better than Luke as he has way more experience and better force powers and better training. Put these two in an arena with no strings attached and no emperor and Vader knows about Leia and everyone else. Just a duel to see who Is better. Vader is going to win.
