Additionally, in my experience, most people who are labeled SJWs are against the death penalty. I didn't really follow this case, I vaguely remember reading a bit about it, what would you actually like to discuss about the leak, besides some vague accusation in the direction of some sort of SJW, whatever that may be in this case?
Chick should definitely of been given the death penalty. Now she gets to enjoy 3 square meals a day and a roof over her head for the rest of her life.
I know people who aren't murderers who don't have that assurance. Hopefully she spends 23 and a half hours a day in solitary confinement with nothing but bread and water for food.

Those are two different issues though, no? The sorry state of the social welfare is definitely a problem that should be addressed, it isn't really related to the question of how to treat prisoners and whether or not the death penalty is morally justifiable.
They might not be the same issue, but it still needs to be pointed out: it is a damn shame this woman will continue to be a drain on society for the rest of her life. If they don't have the decency to put this killer down, at least put her in solitary for the rest of her life.
She did it, she admitted she did it. There is no ambiguity, no chance of killing someone who is actually innocent.

I think ethical treatment of prisoners is a reflection of a well functioning society.
I don't really think the death penalty is something that should exist.
She killed someone, yes, and now she will be deprived of her freedom and separated from society for the rest of her life for that. There's no need to kill her or torture her.
She's got some sort of meth thing going on around her mouth. Even without that meth mouth, Casey is a swell looking girl, Jodi would just be a decent looking murderer.

That's actually not really a derailing, it seems to have become the topic.
Personally I think the SJW moniker is generally used to attack people who make valid points that go against societal norms.
I don't disagree that there are some extremists in this group, but it's really just a deflection tactic.
Reading your interaction with TI in the Dugger thread, it's very likely you'd be accused of being a SJW there.
I view it the same as the campaign against feminism, trying to use propaganda to make it seem like a large group striving for positive change is just crazy extremists. Like Rush Limbaugh coining the term "feminazi".
Most people accused of being SJW are good people, that told someone to maybe not be so homophobic in the future.
