Dark Souls 3

I like this game, but I'm a little disappointed overall, honestly. If they would have taken the gear variety and the PvP mechanics of DS2, this would be the best souls game by far. But I feel like Miyazaki's pride wouldn't allow him to recognize a few of the improvements that From Soft's "B-team" made to his game, and just combined DS1 with the worst aspects of Bloodborne.

On top of that, the whole game felt really short... I don't know if thats due to the three endings or what.

Here's hoping the DLCs offer a lot of new quality content.

Yah, it's definitely the worst pvp game out of all of them. Which is sad because pvp in Dark Souls 3 actually FEELS great, but it's got horrible features (lack of features) and the covenants can go **** themselves.

Indeed, the gameplay is mechanically, almost perfect. But I feel like half of the damn covenants don't even work, I've not once been summoned as a Darkmoon Blade, couple the broken covenants with the lack of loot, I'm getting bored of this game already. Which is pretty mind boggling, considering I played all of the predecessors for at least a year + without getting tired of them.

Darkmoon, Watchdogs and Faithful don't work for a lot of people. Flat out. I had one of those 3 on for most of the game, never got summoned a single time.

I've had a little bit of luck with the Aldrich Faithful, but none with the other two.

It can take up to 10 minutes. So make sure you're not Embered or that you are waiting in an area where you've killed the boss.

I've had them on for like 60 hours bro. Being embered or bosses shouldn't affect it in the slightest.

What level were you? I always farm my Concords with either the Blue Sentinel- or Blades of the Darkmoon covenant because takes about three hours to get 30 of them. I was around level 80 at this point.

If you are getting invaded then you can't invade.

I put the Watchdog item on as soon as I got it and kept it on until I got the Aldrich item and the Darkmoon one, as soon as I reached Anor Londo. Pretty sure I was around normal levels for those bits. I then kept the Darkmoon covenant on for the rest of the game and then fiddled around with PvP proactively. I got summoned once but it error messaged. I'm 114 atm. I've read that some people have gotten steady summons all the way up to level 200 though.

I've also read loads of threads and pages of posts on Something Awful and some people just can't get summoned. Apparently there is a trick to get loads of summons that involves setting up a dummy account or something, because the game prioritizes newer players or something dumb like that.

I've only been invaded a few times.

I've been playing since launch and I've not encountered any of these problems.

The thing about Blades of the Darkmoon and the Blue Sentinels is that they're reliant on the Way of the Blue, which isn't a popular covenant—especially not at high levels.

And I'm personally not a fan of any of them because they're gang-bang covenants. But it was either that or farming the Silver Knights—and I didn't manage to get a single Concord from them.

Took me 9 hours to farm those Concords....damn...ermm

You did the Silver Knights? Yeah. **** that noise.

Get summoned into a session with 2-3 invading spirits with a host and 1-2 phantoms and that's 10% of the Concords you'll need. It's a lot less repetitive too.

Yup.

With crystal sage rapier, golden serpent ring +1, mimic headpiece and tons of rusted coins it was roughly 9 hours.

I went for platinum so I was doing all i could....😛

At 1st I was really bad in pvp barely won few matches since this was the 1st time I played DS online ever.

Didnt know which weapon to use etc......thank god Im much better and I win 60-80% of my matches.

Still pvp has some real lameos(rapier dudes, estus sippers, great shield users,)

Gotthard roll l1 is one of the lamest things I have seen so far....

Like I said, it works for some and is completely broken for others. No one's been able to figure out exactly why either.

Lol. Well, as funny as that is I feel for the knight. He's probably bored to tears waiting to get summoned so he's finding ways to entertain himself.

I pretty much quit playing DS3....I'm VERY sad about that. I played both DS1 and DS2 for over 700 hours each thanks to the pvp.

With the way that invaders always go into 3 and 4v1's now and the fact the covenants suck...I've completely lost interest.
I'll definitely come back for the DLC though.

Been playing Killer Instinct now that it's on Windows 10 for pc. It's fking INCREDIBLE. The sound especially (season 1 & 2 by Mick Gordon) is the best soundtrack for a fighting game EVER.

Adjusting the summoning of BoTDM and BS....my ass. They said that last time and it didn't do a damn thing.

Fk you Fromsoft. How about you just give us a blue eye orb like the past 2 Dark Souls games? Oh and they're nerfing my Dragonslayer Axe? Yah, not bothering to log in for this.

The nerf of some weapons is just retarded when they just keep dark sword at the same lvl....ermm

There are plenty worse big weapons the dragonslayer axe is not that bad...

The Greatshield category needed a significant nerf.

2. Adjusted the consuming FP of the Magic Spell Category

Wasn't really needed. Although less spell cost would be a good thing.
