😕 What? At what point during that post did you feel I was salty? I even went out of my way to say that I wasn't saying he was wrong......but sure, I'm salty.

My point was, as is traditional in the Souls series; all bosses are subjective. While I didn't find 4 Kings hard, even in NG+, TONS of people said that was a nightmare fight. Whereas I struggled with the asylum demon at first. We all have bosses we WISH we could do better at, and have bosses that we're surprised others DON'T do as well with.

Manus and Artorias now those phuckers were hard...

See, that's my point. I personally find Pontiff, Nameless King, and the Dancer to all be significantly harder than Artorias. I killed Artorias on my first attempt when that dlc came out.. Bosses are really subjective.

Honestly the hardest boss in the AotA dlc for me was the double Sanctuary Guardian bosses. Then probably Kalameet and Manus and then Artorias. Artorias was the coolest though; best atmosphere/music/lore.

Nah I had more of a thing for his sister and her amazing knockers. That little bastard draining my health and teleporting away every time I chased him in DS1 made me rage many a time. I was more compromised by finding blacksmith brahs body

I also hadn't really put together that he consumed your hubby until you mentioned it. Thats f*cked. I suppose I should ahve what with him being The God Eater and all

All of you saying Nameless King was easy probably weren't soloing him without summons and/or were using spells or blocking.

Try two handing with no shield and it's a much harder fight. Took me six tries on normal game my first playthrough. I beat him in five tries on NG+ with no summons. He's not super hard but he's definitely not a *****. Shields have always trivialized bosses. Put on your big boy pants and try it like a man 😉

Nah he's a sissy girl. Just another Old King Allant wannabe.

No but I have a katana-using weaboo character I plan to make that won't use shields and won't wear heavy armour, so might be harder with them.

Well I mean, he is using Gwyndolin as his face during the fight.

Weapon descriptions confirm it, and it's implied Gwyndolin sacrificed so that his sister, the Darkmoon covenant leader, would survive.

Off-topic: can somebody tell me why is that watchdog labelled by everyone as such a hard boss? I remember encountering him by mistake while exploring a chalice dungeon and soloed him second try.

Defiled Chalices cuts your HP in half, so basically he will one- or two-shot you. But the Watchdog is not the toughest, he's just the toughest boss that you have to beat to get the platinum.

The hardest is if you—in a random Defiled Chalice—get the Pthumerian Descendant, because of the bullshit collision-detection of those shotels. I beat him once, and every other time I've gotten him in a Defiled Chalice I've re-setted the damn thing.

I beat them at level 18 with my Black Knight Halberd build first try. Neither of them were as difficult at the Nameless King.

Allant is a lot easier than the Nameless King.

Nah, Nameless King is a sissy and a deadbeat dad with no job. Allant was a real man with a full-time job and a beard, he was probably no less than twenty times harder than Nameless King.

Literally untrue, lol.

That's racist.

I've grown so accustomed to invading into a 3v1 now that I'm almost sad if it is only 1 host. At least with a 3v1 if I lose I get to write it off as "just being outnumbered" lol.

Plus, it's more fun and rewarding when you actually kill all 3 or even 4 other players. I've had my fair share and am saving all my pale tongues and forked tongues to keep track of my kills.

What weapon do you use for pvp?

Currently my favorite is the Black Knight Sword. It's actually a greatsword (claymore moveset) but has the perserverance hyper-armor buff.

Also been using the Twin Prince's Greatsword recently since I beat NG+ I use that and then when I parry someone I quick-swap to my +5 demon great axe for the riposte kill.

Other weapons I love are the Dragonslayer Sword-Spear, Dragonslayer Spear, Dragonslayer Axe, Demon Great Axe and the Black Knight Great Axe.

I use a lot of weapons though. I don't own a single melee weapon that's not at least +7. I want all my weapons to be at least +9 and +4.

Another thing I utilize are black fire bombs. They actually do REALLY good damage to people and I've killed probably 50+ people with them as they were running away and/or trying to estus.

I wish the caestus was as good in this game as they were in 2. That was my first character's weapon in 2, and I loved dunking on scrubs by stun-locking them with my fast as **** dual-wielding combo. Truly it was the greatest experience of my life.

My favorite invasion as an Aldrich Faithful in this game is when me and some other fuccboi Aldrich Faithful invading some ass clown who used a Giant Seed to make the enemies attack us as well. He would use this super obnoxious speedy build and try to kite us through the Silver Knights and get us killed. My fuccboi pal was gunned down like the degenerate he is, but I chased him like the huge badass I am and actually got him knocked on his back by the silver knight he tried to kite me into, so I proceeded to knock him off the edge like the piece of shit he is.

This took about ten minutes.

Man, Yhorm wrecked Siegward in my game. I'd heard that he trivialises the fight so I thought it would be ok to let him take him solo while I go grab Storm Ruler. Dude was dead by the time I got back.
