The only people on that list that is the ultimate savior of anything is Shepard and the Inquisitor. You also forgot Gorion's Ward, but that's okay because their story is basically the same as that of any other Bio protagonist, with the added benefit of being a literal demigod.

Why would we be worried about that?

Welcome to bioware storytelling, all PCs have to be the ultimate saviours of the universe:Revan
Shepard
Warden
Hawke
InquisitorThe only exception has been Jade Empire.
What game were you playing? Hawke was not the savior of the universe 😆
-Was a contributing factor to the start Mage-Templar War that ripped Thedas apart at its foundation.
-Unwittingly unleashed an ancient Darkspawn magister that proceeded to easily amass an army because of the war that was going on.
Basically, Hawke shits and the Inquisitor wipes.
They even brought that up in Inquisition where
Spoiler:
Hawke gets taunted about the fact that nothing she's done has ever accomplished anything other than get her family killed.

Because the last thing we need is more protagonist wank? Just a thought.
Ok but on the other hand it helps me win versus threads so yeah.
And a few of them really need more exposure to cement how good they are. The HoT especially.
What they really need actually is an actual representation of the characters....but that's just me, of course were not gonna get that ever considering the way things are going. But that's just me, I find it hard just going off of simple cutscenes and vague details of fights and so on, without knowing what actually happened in a fight.
If you start out a new Outlander, you're still one of the original 8 characters right? I mean don't they still have the same companions?
I don't think there is one "Outlander" considering that. Although that raises the question of what happens to the other 7 classes in the story. Does only one of the characters survive?
Yes, the Outlander, even the new one, is just one of the base classes. You don't start as the Outlander, it's just a free level 60 character, and only level 60 characters can begin the expansion. Honestly, it'd be pretty funny if they still made you do the starter planets.

Most current companions survive, and you can recruit cross-class companions now.
I'm already thinking up my Assassin's dream team. I want Doc, Kalyio, Vette, Risha and Jaesa mmm
Mainly because Doc and Kalyio know each other, and Vette and Risha grew up together. Plus they're all badass tbh

My dream team would be Scourge, SCORPIO, Khem, Kira and Lokin btw.I'm picturing Khem's reactions to following a Jedi and it's hilarious. Maybe I should try to pick the most dysfunctional teams for each class. Like Quinn following the Smuggler, lol. Or M1-4X and the Inquisitor.
Scourge and the second Wrath?
Nadia and the Bounty Hunter, Pierce and Havok, Corso and the Agent?
