That would be the most logical scenario but I don't think they would create another story while Vitiate's is going on cause it peaked with the last patch as annihilation is the main concern and I really doubt that they would bring in this new concept to mash with the Vitiate patches especially since the trailer doesn't include Vitiate at all.

Rise of the Emperor was just a patch not an expansion, I can see them tying Vitiate up in the same manner before Knights of the Fallen Empire goes live.

What a great way to handle your main villain, you just patch him out. 😐

You are mistaking a possessed Jedi Master for being Vitiate.

Because even a setback wasn't enough to stop him from gaining power eventually.

Vitiate was the one possessing her and fighting with her body. He still lost to the protag in that way.

Just kill him off. He is a shitty character and has served his purpose. Time to move on to bigger and better things.

Vitiate doesn't have the marketing value of Revan so I can understand that(though I still think the ultimate bad guy of the franchise deserved an expansion) but now it will be irrelevant even for a patch cause the new expansion is gonna overshadow.

Neph considering they are in the process of switching to episodic chapters and that RotE set a precedence then I doubt your concerns are warranted.

It's more likely than not Vitiate is quickly patched up and removed from play by a new operation or something mentioned by this new expansion. It's also very possible that he'll return within the expansion as an outside antagonist, though that's unlikely.

Revan needs to die or else be ignored. If Revan shows up in this I literally might rage quit life

However they may just kill him off, but it would be a bit anti-climatic. That said, everything that ever happened in TOR has become a bit anit-climatic since the Empire of Zakuul.

A single possessed being is not representative of Vitiate's power. Vitiate was multi-tasking with his abilities on planetary scale during this event.
