Metal vs Currency

Since losing the gold standard, people have been disconnected with gold and silver.

These two videos show how people have lost the idea that metal is worth more then worthless paper, yet they chose the worthless paper over dirt cheap gold and silver.

Here is an even better one.

Note this gold is actual legal tender in the US.

lol

Yes. The Cities in Flames the Starving Throngs rampaging on the streets . The Elite Hiding behind their walls and in their towers wondering when it will be their turn to get thrown to the flames.

The True Legacy of Obama!

Just goes to show, 95% people of dumb, brainwashed and stupid.

Guy was selling a $1500 coin for $25 lol, people wouldn't buy it.

Metal trumps all.

Those idiots on the street, didn't think so, they want there cheap change and dollars over solid gold coins and solver bars for pennies on the dollar that he was offering.

Now I see why everyone is so stupid. They been dumbed down over time to this pathetic state they currently in.

If you don't know how to identify gold, it would be stupid to purchase a gold colored coin for $25 just because a stranger told you it was pure gold.

Watch the video assnerd, there was a gold store right behind them he would prove the gold was if the person agreed to buy it for the discounted price.

The sad thing is average people can't discern real gold from fake.

It doesn't matter if it was a prank/scam/whatever.
These guys were clearly clueless.

As a frequent jewelry buyer, it's easy for me to tell if it's fake or not. But I don't think the average American is a jewelry enthusiast. Unlike the average Indian; they'd even skip meals just to save up to buy gold jewelry.

Also what we have here is legal tender from the "federal reserve" vs US Mint Currency worth 1000% more, yet people will chose to keep .99 cents of zinc and cooper over 16oz of pure silver and 1oz of Gold..

Adding in he was right be hind a gold place, and people still would not accept it, makes this even more laughable to show the ignorant and stupid state people live in. They could have bought that coin for $25 sold it for $1500 of fiat money which they are slaves too. The risk vs reward was non existent, and people chose the no risk option.

Also, metal currency such as gold and silver is 100% legal tender in America..

I wouldn't have purchased it, either.

Not until I went to a gold shop that I got to choose. And then, after it was tested and ensured as silver or gold, then I would purchase it AFTER checking the current exchange rates, per ounce, on silver and gold.

Here's the problem with the video: the setup just seems like a scam. And standing outside of a jewelry shop is no good. He could be part of that shop, partaking in a scam with that shop. Even if they went into that shop to verify that the metal was pure, the shop could be in on the scam.

Are you saying its WRONG to just implicitly trust some guy standing out on a street corner with a video crew?

Yes it could have been. In the first video, he was standing outside the place, so usually in America people are on the street outside selling things like an other vendor. So a person standing outside of McDonalds saying a Big Mac was .99 cents inside could as well be a scam. So I don't buy that particually. Not only that, but I lived in this area before, people are on the street everywhere especially in front of vendors promoting people to come into stores and buy things. And gold stores dont just pop up in Del Mar/Encinas Area. and start scamming people, people would be all over this like stink on shit.

One guy said "I don't know what that is" and Mark said "we can go right here and verify it" he said no. Then Mark asked him how much were those headphones on your neck he responded "$150." To me this shows, people are to caught up in personal and instant gratification then.

Then the girls at the end caught on to the deal and they missed out on it.

Yes as most people are, I mean a dollar could easily be a fake one, yet they would would have taken taken counterfeit dollars and not know the difference from this dude over real gold and silver

Just like that one scene from The Dark Knight Rises!

Why do you dismiss paper money on the idea that its value is theoretical yet value gold despite its value also being theoretical? Gold is not a practical good- it doesn't do anything unless you work in specific parts of the electronics industry.

The vast majority of gold's value comes from a. its history and b. that it is shiny. It is a currency in of itself, just as psychological as paper currency.

Gold is worthless? Check the price on it...
