And really, lots of characters that fight inside black holes get knocked around in fights, so, really, there's no issue that isnt in a lot of other threads here.
I'm trying to be more PC nowadays, as there's a lot of sniping in these threads. That said i'd rather this go to page 2 than be filled with those types of responses, thank you.
Depends how you define base Surfer.
When Surfer fought Hulk and his Warbound he didn't have access to the Power Cosmic and was weakened from the portal. (E.g., "The disc prevented me from using my Power Cosmic"😉

They were forced to destroy his disc, to break Surfer's mind-control.

Somebody beat me to the punch.
He punches the Hulk and then quite literally says he has done nothing but piss him off. Also did Hulk inject himself with steroids or something? Look at the size comparison of him and Peter as the punch connects and then the next scene Hulk is massively larger.

But no I don't think he was shown specifically using the PC to amp his durability. I suppose he could of, but we were never given a "I must utilize the power cosmic to help myself survive this exposure". I suppose technically everything he does the PC is responsible for.
