Captain America vs Bishop fist fight

Look like a tough fight for both.

Rogers has the skill edge, but Bishop can absorb the kinetic energy of Steve's blows.

I'd say if Steve fights smart, he should be able to choke Bishop out for a 10-count.

How is Bishop's power working, exactly?

Always thought it was just the energy absorption. I mean, he's nowhere near Sebastian Shaw or even Strong Guy levels in absorbing punches and stuff.

Steve beats him down to the point that he makes Bishop look like a rookie IMO.

Wouldn't choking someone still be putting out some energy? After all you are applying force via squeezing.

I don't know why you think his powers are turned off. You might be able to make a case he doesn't absorb kinetic energy like someone said.

Cap fought the Aquarian, who has a (very powerful) Null Field. He disabled him with an aikido hold that didnt expend energy.
He could do the same to Bishop.

Bishop holds every single advantage in this fight (with powers on) and he's also an amazing fighter. Hell, he sparred better against Wolverine than any top tier Martial artist I've seen.
