We have maul beating a JEDI KNIGHT Kenobi and a Padawan Anakin in AOTC. Last I checked... beating two people is greater than being turned into a pint sized midget Then Dooku goes on to dual with Yoda and survive. Something Maul would be unable to do.

Then we have Dooku fighting a MASTER in Obi and a Jedi Knight (who should've been on the council and a master considering his skills) . He defeats MASTER Kenobi and then falls to Anakin. However, that Anakin is better than Qui Gon.

The reality is that Dooku has CLEARLY superior on screen feats.
