I have to admit, I've admired this thread in particular for a while now. So for anyone observing this thread from start-to-finish, and concluding that Nai isn't the single most creative, intelligent and eloquent debater here, then I suggest you take a thorough examination of what's going on from page 5 onwards.
However... one's debating talent can only carry a controversial argument - that is sophistical in nature - so far. Controversial Dialectic is the art of disputing, and of disputing in such a way as to hold one’s own, whether in the right or the wrong. The more difficult the position, the harder the argument is to prove, which is why I think this matter is particularly interesting. There was an perceptible ease in the way Nai debated this. It is quite to the contrary, that everyone else was struggling to make a case for Palaptine. The case is simple : Kun is just better Palps.

Dr. Nai would beat Gideon and almost everyone on this forum regarding Star Wars materials. I can tell that. He's by far a better debater. He is sane and logical. Two things most SW debaters lack on various Star Wars debate sites, like Space Battle Forums and Comic Vine. 😛
He and Ziggy Stardust are the best so far.
Gideon doesn't debate, he offers snappy quips, gets into personal spats about your history and regurgitates the standard party line while laughing about how he just wrecked you.
I've never seen he and Nai have a debate that didn't devolve into him just ragging on Nai for his posting history and making that the focus instead of the actual point. In terms of intellect and arguments Nai is far greater imo.
