but at this point in time, They seem to be picking and choosing which things to re-establish back in the canon.

It was never off-limits. It was just declared that whole different continuity wasn't canon. But that anything from it is available for creators of canon to be incorporated into the Canon continuity as they wish.

I know with the Rogue One movie, They used a ship which previously was seen in KOTOR 1.

Neat.

Its like a comic universe reboot (without the reboot), where writers can take this and that (as big as characters as small as a cool ship) and introduce it into the storyline.

Thats just their way of saying they don't have the legal premission to use other peoples material yet, but that don't Stop The Mouse!

^ Whose material? Legends was all published by Lucasfilm. They have the legal right that to use anything they want from there.

Nah I seem to recall a big stink about this from The Mouse saying they wouldn't be using any of the EU mat in their projects what so ever.

So yeah. Knew that wouldn't last.

But yes. I do have this tendency to not just belive everything someone tells me....especially big evil soulless corporations.
